Layla

The last time I ever saw Nathan look like such a mess was over three years ago. He was heavily drunk, looked miserable and it was that same evening that he served me those divorce papers, telling me how unhappy I made him.

Seeing him like this and remembering that night only fuels my rage and the last thing I want is to be here right now.

It seems that he doesn't want to step out of the elevator as he continues to look at me with extremely noticeable dark circles under his eyes.

Not wanting to spend another second longer standing before him, I face the other direction so I can return to my suite, but he grabs onto my wrist and pulls me into the elevator with him.

"What do you think you're doing?" I yell as the doors close.

I frantically move my wrist so I can break free, but he doesn't seem to let go as he presses a button.

Frustrated, I slap him hard and he finally lets me go.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Let me out of here!"
