Louis pulls me closer, gently stroking my chin as he says, "You really want to know what we were talking about?"

"Of course." I curiously raise my eyebrows.

"Well, I was just bragging to him about how amazing it is that I have you all to myself and I'm never letting you go. I was actually thanking him for letting you go, because that's how you came to be mine."

He wraps his arms around my waist, planting a gentle kiss on my cheek.

"Do you want to know what Nathan said to that?"

"Tell me." I look to the side as I speak to him.

"He said that I don't deserve you and that we shouldn't be together."

I part my lips to speak but I'm at a loss for words. The nerve of him to say such a thing is crazy to me.
