If there's one thing I've come to realize tonight, it's how my happiness seems to infuriate Nathan and Miranda, but that's not fair. I equally deserve to be happy. Do they still expect me to be living miserably with no man by my side?

As I touch up my makeup, I chuckle a few times while looking in the mirror. I'm certain that what pisses off Nathan the most is seeing me with his business rival.

He made me feel like I was unworthy of anything good in this world, yet Louis is right here, showing me a different side of life.

Just as I keep doing my makeup, my phone rings from my purse and my first thought is that it's Louis, but it's Pamela. I wonder why she's calling me right now. I hope nothing bad happened.

"Hello?" My voice is laced with concern since I don't know what to expect.

"Girl, you look gorgeous!" she says from the other end of the line.
