The First Meeting

English is my second so if there is any grammar mistake please don't mind.

It was my first day at school and I was really excited to go because ever since i was a little girl i always wanted to the most prestigious high school of the kingdom for becoming a protector. I have admired all those kingdom protectors like how they risked their lives just to save our/their kingdom so, it was a dream come true for me. I woke up early in the morning and took a nice refreshing warm bath. I styled my hair as usual, wore a dress. My roommate Miko helped me in dress selection because I was so excited that I couldn't even chose a decent dress. After I was completely ready, we both went to the dining hall where everyone was waiting for me.

 When I reached there everyone looked at me with visible joy. I sat down to eat my special breakfast made by none other than my beloved nanny Lucy. But before I could start eating everybody started clapping. I kind of felt embarrassed but I guess their happiness was pretty obvious because I was the first commoner ever to get admission in that school. Then at a distance I saw the headmaster of our orphanage placing a stool and standing on it.

 As soon as he stood on the stool the whole dining hall was filled with pin drop silence. Mr. Yamamoto cleared his throat and started saying that even though Yamamoto orphanage is a very famous orphanage yet no one was able to get admission in the prestigious school but Mizuki has proven everyone wrong as she got admitted in the school, she basically has told everyone that even a commoner can be blessed and can get admission with great effort. Commoners are powerful too.

  Hearing his long and boring speech I yawned and stood up and said, “so, long and short of what headmaster is trying to say is that all of you can also get admission if you work hard nothing is impossible. Before I could say anything else Julica childhood friend interrupted me by saying that I was going to be late if I kept my arrogant behaviour going. After hearing her I sat down with swollen face and Everyone laughed at this. When I heard them laughing, I stuffed my mouth with food with embarrassment and hurried to the school.

When I left orphanage, I looked at the time “Holy shit! It’s already this late. No Mizuki you can’t be late on your first day I have to hurry up. As I was running, I turned the corner of the street but got bumped into someone. I stumbled and said,” ah… in pain but quickly said sorry to the person I bumped in. When I looked at the person, he had shining yellow hair with deep blue eyes. I have to admit that he is good looking.

But he stared at me with anger and said,” Are you blind? Can’t you see people on footpath? At this I got mad and said,” well! I may be blind but you are definitely deaf. Can’t you hear me saying sorry? Huh… I’m not deaf. I’m simply saying that you need to walk with eyes open not closed. Well! my eyes are open you are the one who suddenly popped out of nowhere. As I was running, I couldn’t see you standing right at the turn of the street. Ugh…. Whatever. I will be late because of your nonsense. Yeah, right whatever I don’t have time for your nonsense either. Saying this I walked away.

 What was he even thinking? He may be good looking but was a total idiot. After covering some distance, I again started to run at a superhuman speed. I barely made to school on time. After the bell rang all new students were assembled in the assembly hall so, I also went there. The principle gave us a hearty welcome speech and after that we were allotted different sections of classes based on our power levels. The higher the power the higher the rank was. Obviously, I was assigned the highest rank class because for some mysterious reason I was born with immense power but whatever I was really happy

that I got into the highest rank class. When I entered the class, everyone stared at me with hostility. Uh! Not again. Everyone is again staring at me this feels so awkward. But I have to get used to it because only royals and nobles come here. Well, if we look at the bright side, I’m the first commoner to ever come here so they should praise me, treat me like a VIP person.

Besides I also faced hostility at the entrance exam but soon examiners hostility was transformed into shock so they will be shocked as well when they see my powers (Internally laughs devilishly). I reached at my seat and sat down.

 After a while the door of classroom opened once again revealing familiar yellow hair and deep blue eyes. Oh! it’s the same stranger with whom I bumped in. I noticed that every other student stood up with respect as soon as this person entered. Why are they showing respect to him? I’m not going stand up for an idiot and a deaf person besides he’s just a student like everyone else.

As I entered the classroom everyone stood up as expected of them but I saw one person till sitting and to my surprise it was the same blind girl who bumped into me. Uh! (In disappointment) what luck. Well, if she’ going to be my class fellow I need her to show me some respect so, I went to her and asked her whether she was going to stand up or not?

 Why is he coming towards me? He had the audacity to ask me whether I was going to stand or not. I got so furious but I tried to contain it and said,” Why should I stand for you? Then instead of him answering my question this other girl with purple hair and golden eyes suddenly slammed on the desk and said that how dared I not to show respect to Prince Kei? So, this person is the prince of this kingdom. I was kind of shocked but still, I said,” so, what if he is? That does not mean I should stand for his royal ass. Everyone is same in the school. There is no social status among students within school grounds.

 After hearing what I said the girl said: That’s why commoners don’t get admission in this school. I wonder whom did you bribed to get in this school. I got furious hearing this so I said,” I bribed no one to get admission. I entered on the bases of my own power and why are you answering in his stead? Doesn’t he have a tongue? Since bribery came into your mind so you must have bribed the examiner. Because as far as I can see your power level is not that high”.

Purple haired girl got flushed with anger and tried to attack me but was stopped by Kei. Kei told her not to fight in class and said that we will soon find out who is powerful and who is weak and once the weak one is proven then that person shall be the servant of the winner for one weak. What do you say miss commoner? It’s not against school rules.

Well! I’m glad that you spoke for yourself because I was starting to think that you only speak when no one else is watching. Oh, and I have a name which is Mizuki. By the way I agree with your deal it will be the easiest way for me to get rid of this stupid situation. Yeah, you’re right it will help to get rid of your arrogant personality.
