A Little Mischief

Mizuki’s POV:

I went to my dorm room and opened it. Now what I saw after opening the door made my eyes wide open. I have never seen such a big room along with so many luxuries like my own refrigerator, closet air-condition, and an attached bathroom.

“Wahoo! I’m so happy. I never had such a big room in my entire life”.

Back at the orphanage, I had a cramped room and I also had to share it with Miko but now I have this room all to myself. I’m glad that I came to this school. This school has its own perks. While I was enchanted by the luxuries, I looked at the boxes lying here and there in the room.

 “Well guess I’ll have to unpack my stuff”.

I opened the closet to put my clothes in it and I was so surprised to see that the closet was so deep, spacious and big. My mouth was opened wide.

“Wow! Even my uniform is in here. I’m in heaven”.

I started to put my casual clothes and other stuff into it. I arranged my books and decoration pieces on the bookshelf. It took me a lot of time to organize my stuff than I thought it would. When I was done with unpacking I looked at the time.

“There’s still time left for evening classes”. I heard a strange noise and it was my stomach growling with hunger.

“Guess I should go to the cafeteria and eat something because if I don’t my stomach will torture to death”.

I left my room and saw Ronesme standing right next to my room.

“Oh hey! So, you’re my neighbor. I just finished unpacking my stuff”.

“Hi! I also finished unpacking my stuff. It was very time-consuming and made me hungry.  Have you eaten anything yet”? Ronesme said.

“No, I haven’t. I was about to go to the cafeteria”, I said.

“Oh! Then why don’t we go together. I’m also hungry and besides eating alone is no fun”.

“Yeah sure. I would love to”, I said. After agreeing we both left for the cafeteria together.

Kei’s POV:

I went to my room and went inside. When I entered, I got so shocked to see that my room was so small. This room is almost the size of my bathroom back at the castle.

“Well! At least it has a refrigerator and air-condition. Bathroom is even smaller. Well, you can’t expect much from a school. I would better start unpacking my stuff”.

After I was done with unpacking my stuff, I looked at the time. “There’s still time so guess I’ll pay a visit to Jones to see if he needs my help”.

Jones's room was right next to me so I quickly went there and knocked on his door. Before Jones opened it, I heard weird noises full of struggle. When jones opened the door: “Hello buddy did you miss me”.

“What brought you to my room?”, Jones said.

“Nothing, I was done with my stuff so I thought maybe you would need my help or something. By the way, what were those weird noises coming out of your room?”

Jones: You know me too well huh. Those weird noises were me struggling with my suitcase so, I do need help with it. It won’t fit in the closet.

“Of course, I knew you needed me we grew up together after all idiot”, I said while slapping on the back of Jones's head.

“Hey! Don’t do that again. It hurts”, said Jones.

“Yeah whatever. Where is that suitcase of yours? Let’s put it in”.

I went into his room and saw a really big suitcase lying on the floor half inside the closet.

“Wow, foo~ you’ve got a lot of mess going on. Why are you trying to fit this suitcase in the closet anyway”?

“What do you mean? My suitcase was always in the closet back at castle”, said Jones.

“Well as you can see this closet is cramped. You can’t fit this case in here. Look above the closet there’s some space up there. It will fit there so let’s put it there”.

After I was done putting the case, I took a deep breath.

“Everything else seems to be in place so let’s go to the cafeteria. I’m hungry after doing all of this work”, I said.

“Yeah, let’s go. I’m also very hungry”, said Jones.

We both left the room and were on our way to the cafeteria when I saw Mizuki and Ronesme pass by us.

“Hey Jones you go ahead I left my wallet in my room I’ll go and get it”.

“Ok. But you seem to be forgetting stuff a lot. I’ll be waiting for you so hurry up”.

“Yeah, sure I’ll be there quick”. After saying this I ran towards my room. It’s time to take my little revenge on Mizuki. She is going to regret pushing me. I teleported to the local potion market and bought the itching potion which is used to keep magical baboons away from the stored food and quickly teleported back to the dormitory.

” So what room no was hers? Room no 07 huh?”

I opened Mizuki’s room door with the help of a pin and went inside. I looked around her room and it was surprisingly clean and well organized.

“Wow, she has the talent to make even this cramped room look spacious”.

I saw her closet and opened it. Grabbed her uniform and laid it on the floor. After laying it I sprinkled potion on her uniform and put it back in the closet. When I was closing the closet, some boxes fell.

“Ok, I take it back she doesn’t know how to organize a closet. Who puts boxes in a closet?”

I stuffed boxes into the closet and hurriedly went outside.

“Now I’m going to have a lot of fun while you itch all over your body like a rabid dog. Bahahaha”. While I was imagining Mizuki itching like a madwoman I heard someone calling me.

“Umm… Kei what are you doing here? There is no boy room in this section of the building”, said Flora.

“Oh! Hey Flora”.

I got startled and couldn’t help rubbing my head. “Ha-ha...ha-ha... I was here to get Lorain but it seems like she is not here. So, guess I’ll go. Bye”.

“Okayyy. Bye, I guess”. “He was a bit weird. Maybe I was just wondering”, Flora said in her mind.

Mizuki’s POV:

We reached the cafeteria and I was again shocked to see that even the cafeteria was so big. “Wooow! It's so big. Look at all those treats they look so delicious. Right Ronesme”?

“Yeah! Seems like you saw something like this for the first time”, said Ronesme.

“Well yeah”. I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment. “I’m from an orphanage so we don’t see these huge things much. You are a noble so you won’t get this feeling”.

“Oh sorry! I wasn’t trying to make you feel uncomfortable or embarrassed”.

“It's ok! I didn’t take it to heart”. “Forget such stuff let's go to the counter I’m getting even more hungry after seeing such tasty food”.

“Hahaha. You look so cute and also act like a child. Let’s get to the counter”, said Ronesme.

“Hey hey, Ronesme let’s get this Sunday delight, strawberry cake, and steamed beef”.

“Yeah sure”.

After buying we went to one of the tables and sat there. My mouth was filled with water just by seeing food. I couldn’t stop myself more than I already had. “Let’s dig in Ronesme”.

Kei’s POV:

I hurried towards the cafeteria and saw Jones waving at me from one of the tables.

“Huff huff I’m back”.

“What took you so long and why are you huffing”? said Jones.

“I forgot huff where I huff put my wallet huff so it took me a while to find it. Huff so, when I did, I ran here huff”. I took a glass of water from the table and drank it. After drinking I wiped my face with the handkerchief.

“Forget about me I can see that you have already bought food”.

“Yeah. You were taking so much time so I bought it for you too” Jones replied.

“Oh!”. I sat on the chair and started eating. While I was eating, I saw Mizuki sitting at a distance and couldn’t help but smile in excitement.

“Why are you smiling”? Jones asked.

“It's nothing. I just remembered a joke that’s all”.

“You know sometimes you make me worry about yourself”.

“Yeah right. Stop worrying about me and eat your food”.
