"Thanks for coming for me, Alexander"

Chapter 6

Isabella Pov

The car came to a stop and I was pulled out of my thoughts, I smiled at Oliver stepped out of the car walked inside straight to my office Sarah came inside after knocking and greeted me. "Good morning Miss Moretti, This is the information you asked me about Mr. Morozov." I nodded and she handed me her tab.

I started scrolling through the information she had found out but it was not enough and I handed her back What kind of trouble Alexander's company was facing. I sighed and smiled at her. and I said "Thank you, Sarah, you can go now and check the files I've sent you." she nodded with a smile and left.

I sank into my chair and signed I couldn't find what kind of trouble his company was facing, and I started working on how to make our sales high.

After a while a knock came on the door I didn't look up and muttered a 'come in' and the handle moved and my father's figure came into my view I raised my brows in question he didn't say anything and sank into the chair opposite my desk.

After a while, he said in a cold yet stern voice "You know Alexander's company is facing some critical issues right?" I nodded in confusion what does he mean by that does he thinks I did something I Can't believe he can think so low about me.

He is not my father I don't even recognize him as my father anymore he hasn't been since I had an accident and my sister died.

Tears were threatening to fall from the lids but I controlled them and stated coldly, "Yes, I know his company is facing some issues but from what I don't know."

His eyes narrowed at my words and he finally asked me what he came here to ask "Isabella, You are not involved in this right?"

I coldly stated, "No, Father how can that question even cross your mind?" He didn't say anything just glared at me still not believing me I scoffed and said. "I think you should leave Father I hope you have better things to do." He gave me a curt nod stood up and left.

I started working again and when the clock strike 9 I took my belongings as I was very tired I just needed a shower and get inside my covers and sleep. I walked out of the company and texted Oliver. As I got outside the cold wind touched my skin I shivered and after greeting Oliver I got inside the car. 

He started driving I threw my head against the headrest and sighed. I felt Oliver tense but I ignored it looked out from the window the city light shine but Oliver interrupted my moment.

"Miss, Isabella, I'm afraid we are being followed." He said his voice cautious My eyes widened slightly and I said "What?" I looked behind from the back mirror and a glimpse of a black SUV came in front of my vision my heart roared inside my chest.

My heart started to beat very loudly and suddenly it was hard to breathe here with my trembling fingers I dialed my father's number which was going to voice mail. I take a harsh breath and having option left I call my sworn enemy.

After a beat, he picked up the line was silent which I broke because I was freaking out. "Alexander." hearing my scared voice his worried voice came instantly "Bella, are you okay?" I said with terror "Someone is following my car, Alexander." I cried

I heard the rustling of clothes and like keys, the sound of bike rev came into my ears "What are you doing?" I asked "I'm Coming there and who is driving Isabella?" his voice came barely a whisper his heartbeat was getting faster than even I could hear from here.

"My driver but how will you find me?" I asked I heard the engine starting voice I could hear his ragged breathing and his cold dark voice came "I can find you, in between thousands, millions, and billions of peoples, Bella, Only I can hurt you do you understand me." 

I was stunned for a moment but I gasped as the car behind mine hit us "What happened, Bella, are you okay?" I took a deep breath and replied softly "Yes, I'm okay." he sighed in relief.

I asked Oliver he just smiled at me in return, I didn't know what to feel My own father didn't answer my phone When my life was on the line Alexander came he came just for me.

Tears were threatening to fall but I controlled them I needed to stay strong and then his rough and stern voice came from the phone. "Okay, Isabella tell your driver to make a space between you and the SUV."

I did as asked and Oliver made space between the unknown Black SUV and our car the bike sped up and Alexander took a 360 turn with his black bike pulled out something from his hoodie and pointed towards the black SUV.

I gasped but he did look hot I never knew he rode a bike I mean I didn't know I was into Bikers he pointed his gun at them threatening them like some dangerous predator who wanted to hunt them down. The black SUV stopped took a U-turn and disappeared into the night. 

I gestured for Oliver to pull over the bike pulled over behind the car I quickly undone my seatbelt and stepped out the cold wind slapped my bare arms. I saw him take his helmet off and did I tell you how handsome he looked when he did that?

I walked towards his muscular frame with my trembling legs out of all the people he came here and risked his life for me he watched me with his heated eyes as I reached in front of his bike, A gasp left my mouth when he pulled me close to his warm body.

He examines me silently if he sees any injury I have but his breath comes of relief when he finds no injury, once again his eyes locked with mine we stared at each other his cold aloof eyes piercing through my soul.

He took a step back from me i looked at him in confusion but then he swiftly pulled off his black hoodie pulled me closer to his body again and put it on me.

"Why did you give me your hoodie?" I whispered as the hoodie swallowed me whole his gorgeous musky perfume came into my nostrils why does he smell so good it made my cheeks burn. They turned red.

"You were shivering." I looked at him with my doe eye, since when did he start noticing my actions? He looked at me with heated eyes.

"So, you cared about me?" I grin at him his cold eyes warm slightly and he says gruffly, "It's not care." "then what is it, Mr.Morozov?" I asked innocently he grunted under his breath I smiled at him.

"Thanks." I whispered and he raised his brows "For what, Bella?" he asked in a cold voice but I knew he was hiding his emotions, I locked my gaze into his and said in a low soft voice "For coming, Thanks for coming for me." 

No one has come for me to risk his life for me but out of all the people not even my father but my sworn enemy came for me to save my life. A sob chuckled left my lips tears slid down my face.

A hand wiped the tears that had fallen I moved my teary eyes up to look at his ethereal face his jaw was clenched and he shake his head once at me as if saying they're not worth my tears.

I tried to control it but the dam burst I burst out he pulled me to his chest and let me cry while he held me in his arms. he started patting my back his other hand on the back of my head.

He didn't say anything just held me through my breakdown, As I cried harder he tightened his hold around me assuring me everything would be fine. He knows I got scared because it has happened to me before when my sister died. He knows the accident gave me enough trauma to put me in a state of panic attack.

After a while, I slightly pulled away to look up into his eyes but he didn't lose his hold onto me. He looked down at me with cold aloof eyes his grey marbles were looking straight at my brown ones.

I tried to pull back but he didn't let me but he pressed his forehead against mine and I looked at his sweater that I ruined with my tears.

"I'm sorry for ruining your sweater--" he cut me off our forehead still pressed together, he said coldly yet sternly "Don't be." I looked at his eyes they were a thousand things that he couldn't express at least not now.

His breath fan against my lips and mine against his. "Why did you come for me when my own father didn't"? And his jaw clenched in anger maybe at my father he never liked my father nor his own. he pulled his head away from mine but didn't lose his hold on me.

"Listen to me, Bella, and Listen very carefully I don't give a fuck about your father you shouldn't too," he said through gritted teeth his eyes turning darkened.

I opened my mouth to protest but he cut me off "I will always come for you whether anyone comes or not, Bella." I was too stunned to speak but just as I opened my mouth to reply he cut me off with something else.

His lips pressed against mine I moaned into his mouth his warm mouth made me shiver and I didn't hold back and put my arms around his neck as he devoured me in the cold long night. One thing is sure I won't be the same as I was tomorrow.
