"You need to marry Alexander Isabella"

Isabella Pov 

I was in the conference room I just had a meeting with the CEO of the biggest fashion company and they just said that They'd want to collaborate with our company, well this is the job of the COO of Moretti Enterprises.

I sat in my chair and massaged my temples then somebody knocked on the door "Come in" I said "Miss Moretti, your father says he wants you to be in his office in 10 minutes."

She completed I nodded at my manager Sarah and said, "Okay till then, make my schedule clear I won't meet anyone for now." she nodded wrote something in her tab, and left.

I stood up and walked towards my private elevator. I never wanted this life but it's like whatever my father says I've to do it like I'm his puppet.

I stood in front of his office the template of his door says CEO office. I scoff mentally and without caring to knock I enter inside. 

I saw my father sitting in his CEO chair and there was someone in front of his chair as well but his back was to the door, where I stood this didn't feel good.

"Isabella how many times do I've to remind you to Knock when you enter." My father's loud yet calm voice reached my ears but I ignored it again like every time like it's no big deal.

I yawned and asked boringly "You called me father? is there something important because I was busy."

yes, I don't call him dad, my father's eyes narrowed and he glared at my ungrateful behavior.

"Isabella" he shouted but I didn't flinch but looked at him blankly like him shouting at me is nothing new.

"I know my name Father now let's get to business, why did you call me?" I said blankly

my father crisscrossed his fingers together leaned forward and said.

"First sit down and then listen to me attentively," he said and gestured for Me to sit in front of him with the unknown man I quietly sat, and when I looked at him my eyes widened.

It's Alexander Morozov my sworn bully who used to bully me in high school how dare he show himself at my father's company he didn't look at me just stared at my father.

I know about him he has now become a billionaire at a very young age he even got an award for being the first billionaire in his twenties. Attention seeker huh!

I will never forget him for tormenting me in high school he was an attention seeker back then too.

I still remember he was the captain of the football team and that's why he was in the center of attention.

I was just a bookworm and you could say nerd but still my father was disappointed in me. I did everything to make him proud but he blamed me for anything and everything.

I was just a child who wanted attention, love, and happiness from him and since my mother died he became somewhat emotional, me and my sister used to see him crying while holding her photo.

And then my sister also left me I know he didn't take that news well and he distanced himself from me and his daughter i couldn't cry, yell, or shout because I needed to hold onto myself.

So I distanced myself from him as well we ate in-house and talked about business just business.

After my sister's death, I never saw him crying just working he became a workaholic.

He always yelled at me if I made some mistake even if it was little. Honestly, after that, I made myself of stone left his mansion, and bought myself a penthouse and I live there.

I wish my sister was alive because my exterior is nothing from the inside but a little girl who wants love and attention from her father.

I blinked the tears away from my eyes and looked at my father coldly he said "Isabella, you need to marry Alexander." he stated in a dismissed voice.

My eyes widened slightly but I calmly stated "Why?"

"What do you mean why?" he raised his voice and I flinched and scoffed 

"Respectfully I decline Father," I said blankly yet coldly.

And I stood without waiting for his answer and walked towards the exit.

"Isabella, I'm your father don't forget I gave you the COO position in this company. In the future, you will become the CEO." said her father coldly he knows how much I'm is working hard for this company and I couldn't decline him because that's the last precious thing of my late mother.

"You're Blackmailing me, Father." I said blankly My heart hurting inside my chest "I'm doing this For you my daughter," he said without emotion. I scoffed and said, "For me? Don't blame me for the consequences." with that, I left my father's office. 

As I exited I felt eyes boring into my back but I didn't turn back to look because I knew who was watching me intensely and I went straight to my office and took my stuff and left the company.

I rushed to my car and once inside I drove to my place I pulled in front of my garage took the elevator got inside my penthouse pulled off my heels through them without looking and slid down on the couch.

I felt something wet slide down my cheeks, I wiped it to find tears falling that I was controlling since at my father's office.  

I scoff and remember that once my sister used to say never to cry even if I want to cry because that will only make the monsters strong and we will be too weak to fight them.

I laugh remembering my childhood at 7 she was very childish but she always has been a good big sister to me. Sofia Moretti was 2 years older than me but now she is no longer here to scold me or rile me up.

I controlled the tears that moved toward my room taking my nightwear I got inside the hot shower because November had started already.

after I was done I made myself some coffee got inside the covers and my phone rang i saw the caller ID to find my father's name.

Sighing I answered it and waited for him to say sorry because I thought maybe he had called me to say sorry for how he behaved with me but he had other plans.

"Isabella tomorrow Alexander will take you on a date." his voice came strictly.

I scoffed and cut the call without answering him.
