Chapter 261

Richard couldn’t conceal the fury on his face. He didn’t just feel hurt that Emily had been engrossed in a conversation with someone he considered an enemy, he was also embarrassed to realize that the enemy owned the park he was presently in.

“Ohh! Sorry about that”, Richard finally said to the manager and Brian, even if he didn’t mean it.

“I would be on my way out now”, he said and secretly flipped his business card into Emily’s fingers.

And with a bright smile, he barged out of the park and away from the premises.

Richard was extremely pissed that he didn’t utter any more words to Emily. Emily on the other hand didn’t seem to give a damn, even if she was truly concerned about his behavior.

“We should be on our way back home”, Richard announced and handed the child over to Emily.

Emily carried her son and ignored Richard as though he haven’t uttered a word. She was in her own world and he didn’t have a right to order her around.
