Emily was crying profusely on Richard’s chest, while he struggled between consoling her and unraveling the meaning of everything she had just uttered.

“It’s okay. Can we sit down and go through everything you just said?” Richard asked and cupped her cheeks into his palms calmly. He couldn’t recall the last time he saw Emily, looking so pale and disturbed.
