Chapter 231

As she paced the road, she couldn’t help but let tears stream down her cheeks. The past days had been her worst, yet she had to bear it. How stupid of her to think that she would be able to defeat someone as powerful as Barbara and get her child back.

Feeling weak, stressed and won out, she walked to a bench out and collapsed on it as tears streamed down her cheeks. Her life had become a total mess in the past few days, she had no job, house, or even food, and she was surprised she could still walk on her own two feet after having being malnourished for days.

She sighed as memories of what had happened a few days back flooded her brain and she could remember how her child had been taken from her. She vividly remembered how Barbara had successfully taken her child from her, but even though it hurt her very much, she couldn’t tell if that was the worst amount of pain she’d felt. Likewise, she couldn’t help but compare it with the pain Richard had caused her when he refused to help he
