Chapter 229

Barbara slowly rolled on the bed in frustration as the constant blares from her phone disturbed her once peaceful sleep. She was so frustrated, she’d been so stressed the previous day and having to wake up, not to an alarm but the sound of a blaring phone, just frustrated her even more.

“Who the heck could it be?” She asked herself as she sleepily covered her head with her pillow before groaning and then getting up.

She took her phone and stared at the caller and on seeing who it was, she knew it had to be important and by important, she knew what it entailed, and immediately she realized what it entailed, her eyes immediately opened and every atom of sleepiness disappeared.

“What’s up?” She asked as she placed the phone on her ear, she needed to know the updates.

“Thanks” she muttered as she quickly hung up and put the phone back on the table beside her bed before rushing out of bed. She didn’t even care to dress her bed or anything before running into the bathroom to get freshened
