"Where is Colton?" Elena asked as she walked in through the door of my office, holding a bunch of paper in her hands.

I frowned at the expression on her face. "I let him leave early." I told her, gathering the files I had on my desk.

Friday had come so fast, and we already had our flight booked for Seattle, as that was where her parents lived. And quite frankly, I actually was a nervous wreck, even if it was my idea to go see them in the first place. "Why do you ask? Is there a problem?"

"He gave me some papers to sign and they are not complete. There are some things I think are missing here." she said, bundling them up and bringing them to me.

I glanced at them. "That's the project we just started." it was the papers to seal the deal with the clients she had met with in my absence some days ago.
