Chapter Seventy Two

"I'm not going to lie." I said to Elena once we were finally alone. "I almost shit my pants under his scrutinizing gaze." I was referring to her father, who had interrogated the shit out of me.

Even if her mother was satisfied by all my answers, her husband was certainly far from being satisfied.

Elena laughed, tightening her hold on me. "Same her, Jason. Same here." She said.

We were currently taking a walk towards what looked like a green house. After the dinner, Elena's mother had literally dragged her husband away, murmuring a small and quick goodbye on their way out.

But it had still been early, and Elena had suggested we took a walk.

And if I had thought the house was big before, I was wrong. It was huge, with a vast land behind it, that could fit three more of the main building.
