"Don't you think there is any hope at all for a real relationship between the two of you?"

That's was the question Jane had asked me. Which had kept on ringing in my head since she had said it. I had stayed out for a while after the call, before making my way back inside, where I had finally fallen asleep, with Jason instinctively reaching out for me.

"What exactly is this party for again?" Jason asked for the third time that evening as we got dressed. We had actually had the day all to ourselves as my parents had been so busy in setting up a party, which they hadn't informed me about when I had called to tell them I was arriving for the weekend.
