"Mom please do not leave me. Please stay". I cried out.
"Sweetheart, listen to me. Stay here ok, mommy and daddy are going to come back soon. Just stay put!". Mom exclamed and I sniffed loudly.
"Mom p-please do not leave me I'm scared, those men look bad mommy. Please go and call daddy so that we can run away from those bad men". I suggested and she shook her head negatively.
"No Amphitrite! Listen to me my baby girl, just stay here and we will come back soon ok". She insisted and all I could do was nod my head vigorously.
"That's my good girl. Just hide in this wardrobe. Even if you hear a single voice do not come outside. Stay put!". She commanded.
"Just promise me that you are going to come back mommy". I said and she nodded.
"Promise mommy that you are going to stay put Amphitrite. Promise me that you are going to be safe in this wardrobe". She said and I nodded as she pecked my forehead affectionately as a tear streamed down her cheek. It felt like I was never going to see her again and daddy.
"We will always love you my beautiful Amphitrite". She said wiping a tear that was on her cheek.
"I love you too mommy and I love daddy too. Please come back to me soon".
And those five men looked bad especially the one with a scar on his left cheek.
Mom closed the door shut leaving me in the darkness of the wardrobe shaking like a leaf that is being blown by the wind.
"Mom and dad please be safe. Do it for me!". I said a quick prayer.
Few minutes later I heard an agonizing scream and that voice sounded like.... Like my mother's voice and I muffled my cries. Those bad men are hurting my mother.
"Please let her go!". I heard my father's pleading voice coming from downstairs.
"DON'T PLAY GAMES WITH ME EDWARD! JUST F**KING TELL ME WHERE THE GODDAMN DOCUMENT IS!". A loud voice rang out and I flinched.
"I told you that I do not know Lucien. Please just let us go". His voice chocked out with emotions.
"SEARCH HIS F**KING GODDAMN HOUSE!!". The man commanded and I heard loud footsteps climbing the stair case. I heard the door creaking and I whimpered as I quickly covered my mouth with my palm.
Please almighty do not let them find me.
I heard the breaking of furniture as I clutched my dress tightly, shaking vigorously in trepidation.
"Check the wardrobe!". Another one said and my eyes dimmed. They are going to find me, the bad men are going to hurt me badly.
"It's locked". Another voice said and I sighed in relief.
"THEN BREAK IT OPEN YOU FOOL!". The one who said they should check the wardrobe growled and tears gushed out of my eyes. I have never been scared like this in my entire life.
The wardrobe door started banging loudly and I moved back at each loud bang until my back hit the wall of the wardrobe. With a loud bang the door flew open and I screamed loudly.
The man smirked wickedly, "look what we have here!". He said loudly alerting the others.
"Did you find it?". Another one asked.
"I think I just found Edward's treasure". He muttered and the three of them stood in front of me with a grimace on their faces and my legs wobbled as I felt hot liquid running down my thighs.
"Oh! Did little princess mess up her panties?". The other one mocked and they laughed loudly.
"I didn't know that Edward had a daughter. She looks nine to ten years old. So that means that bastard has been hiding his daughter from us for ten years". He said in amusement.
"The boss will be so thrilled to see Edward's little princess!". He said in a slurry voice and I shook my head negatively. "No, no please let me go!". I said with my small voice.
"Grab her quickly Oscar, so that we can go downstairs". The other one commanded.
The man grabbed me roughly and I screamed in pain as I bit his hand hard moving away from him. "You little swine! How dare you!". He growled slapping me hard across the face and I screamed in excruciating pain. I started feeling nauseous, my head started aching and slowly but surely I was losing my strength. It felt like I was going to die soon.
The man grabbed me as they dragged me downstairs. The sight before my eyes broke me into million pieces. Both my parents were kneeling down like some slaves in front of the man with a scar.
"Look what we found boss". The Oscar man said proudly and the man turned to look at me. He looked scary and savage.
He looked like a mafia king. He was very huge and unfamiliar.
The amusement look on my parent's eyes was priceless. The man took steady steps towards me and hovered above me.
He squated in front of me and held my arm not too roughly.
"Amphitrite!". My mother yelled with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Please let my daughter go Lucien. She has nothing to do with all this, she's just a child!". My dad screamed loudly.
"Shut them up!". The so called Lucien said firmly as the other men roughly manhandled my parents.
"Please let them go sir". I pleaded in a whisper and he looked at me blankly.
"Do you want me to let them go little raven?". He asked and I nodded my head vigorously. "Don't hurt my mommy and daddy please". I pleaded with him.
"How old are you little raven?". He asked.
"I'm t-ten years old". I stammered swallowing a lump on my throat.
"What a clever girl you have here Edward. I cannot believe that you hid her from the world for ten whole years, that's so clever of you". He said with a low groan.
"Just to think of think of it she would make me some billions if I put her into the market. My clients loves young virgin girls like her and to top it all up she's beautiful". He said loudly and my mother shook her head negatively.
"What do you think Tristan?". He asked and the Tristan smirked mischievously.
"Who knows maybe I might be the one to buy her. I love young beautiful girls like her". Tristan said licking his lips.
Why would someone want to buy me? They want to take me away from my parents.
"Just tell me where the document is Edward and I will let her go!". He growled and I flinched.
"I already told you that I do not know Lucien. I'm telling you the truth here. Just let my little princess go". My father pleaded and I sobbed silently.
"Just to think of it, I no longer want the document. You can keep it I will take your daughter instead she would give me more money than that document". He said with an expressionless face hauling me on his shoulder and I screamed loudly.
"Amphitrite!". My mother called out loudly.
"Mom please save me!". I screamed punching him with my little fists.
"Get rid of them!". He growled loudly and I stiffened. I heard gunshots and my mother's low screams and everywhere went silent. I started punching me harder with my fists and he dropped me down as I ran into the house only to see my parents laying on the floor in the pool of their own blood.
"No!". I screamed loudly hurrying towards them shaking my mom vigorously. "Mommy please wake up. Amphitrite wants you to wake up!".
"Daddy please wake up!". I screamed shaking him vigorously but he did not move a muscle. "You b-both p-promised me that you will n-never l-leave me!" I stuttered and cried out loudly.
"Let's go little raven. Your parents are gone". He said keenly dragging me away from the scene. I couldn't cry anymore as I ran out of tears.
"Burn the house down!". He demanded and they burned it down in front of my eyes. They burned my parents in front of my eyes like they were nothing.
From that moment I changed, everything changed. Nothing matters anymore, my heart turned to stone. My smile disappeared, I was no longer my father's princess. I was no longer my mother's little baby Amphitrite.
I was different and all because of five men.
I couldn't let them take me away like that so I bit his hand hard as I ran away faster than my little legs can carry me. "Don't just stand there you bunch of fools! Follow that little girl and bring her back to me. She is my gem!". He growled but I did not look back. I did not want to look back.
I heard many footsteps behind me and I ran faster and faster. I was getting tired but I couldn't let them get to me, I couldn't let the take me.
I hid behind a tree breathing heavily with my heart pounding faster threatening to leave my chest.
"Where the hell is she?". The other one asked with a groan.
"We cannot hear footsteps anymore, it definitely means that she is here somewhere. Let's search for her until we find her because if we don't find her boss is going to kill us". The other who's voice I recognize to be Oscar's rang out.
"Come out little girl we know that you are here somewhere!". Another one called and I stiffened.
Their footsteps started approaching the tree and I clutched my mouth tightly with my palm praying for them not to find me.
Unfortunately I stepped into a dry leaf and it made a crunch sound, "behind the tree!" they yelled and I started running again.
"It's better you stop little girl because if we find you then you will not like what we are going to do to you". He threatened but I didn't stop. I'm not losing without a fight.
I promised my mom that I'm going to be safe and that's definitely what I'm going to do. Even if I die, I won't let them touch me.
I arrived at a dead end. In front of me was a cliff and beneath it was raging water, my mother has told me stories of this river. She said that a person who falls in there never comes back. He or she dies instantly.
"There's no where to go little one. Just come and we will leave in peace". He said coming towards me.
"Stay... Stay back o-or else I'm gonna jump". I threatened with a stutter and they laughed. "Are you really threatening us little girl?". He growled loudly and I flinched.
I moved backwards until I reached the end side of the cliff and stood there. "Stop! You are going to die little girl". They yelled loudly.
"Even if I die, I won't let you monsters touch me. You killed my parents without a backwards glance, you killed them like animals!". I yelled breathlessly and they chuckled.
"Even if I die today! I will rise from the dead and kill you all! Remember this you monsters! I'm going to come back for my revenge!... I'm going to avenge the death of my parents! I'm going to kill you all!". I vowed glaring at them maliciously.
"Oh please little girl. Stop being dramatic and come here so that we can leave. You are wasting our time here". He said with a smirk.
"I'M AMPHITRITE! QUEEN OF THE SEA AND I WILL NOT DIE WITHOUT AVENGING MY PARENTS!!". I growled with a voice that was unfamiliar to mine as I threw myself off the cliff into the raging water.
I couldn't swim and I couldn't breath under water until I couldn't keep my eyes open. Darkness swallowed me and I gave in.
Keep reading you won't be disappointed.
I felt myself sleeping on something soft. Could I be dead and in heaven? I opened my eyes only to find myself in an unfamiliar place. Could it be that those terrible men found me and brought me here. No! I will be doomed if they did, they will kill me like they killed my parents and I won't be able to avenge the death of my parents. No! I have to escape from this place and run far away from here. I tried getting up but my body felt like it wasn't even mine. My body felt so weak and heavy, but I had to try anyways I had to do it for my parents. "Come on Amphitrite". I said to myself in a whisper trying even more harder to get up. I started coughing loudly. "There, there little tigress, you will only hurt yourself if you keep on moving like that. Your body is still weak as you stayed in the water for almost an hour unconscious". A deep voice said and I turned to look at him. He was very muscular, it looked like he was in his ea
"Nooo!". I screamed again as I woke up sweating profusely. I just dreamed about how my parents were killed mercilessly by those monsters. I do not think that these nightmares will go away anytime soon but it is good that I'm having these nightmares because they will forever be a reminder of my deadly mission to hurt those that killed my parents in cold blood. "It is good that you woke up because I was going to wake you up. Here!". Vander said throwing a huge silicon bag in front of me. The bag was filled with clothes, black clothes to be precise and surprisingly I loved them. Seems like black is my favorite color now because I feel like my life is filled with darkness and darkness only. There is no light and there will never be until I punish those monsters for their misdeeds. I will not spare them for what they did to me and my parents. I used to love bright colors like pink, yellow, white... And so on but right now I just hate those colo
Vander carried me inside the house and I couldn't help it but shiver vigorously. "Go and take a bath, little one. You will catch a cold. Put on some dry clothes and come here. I will make you some hot cup of coffee." Vander said and I nodded my head hurrying into my room. After taking my bath, I went downstairs. Vander handed me a cup of hot coffee and I collected it from him in a jiffy. I never liked coffee but I drank it anyways, I can't complain, my parents are no longer alive to pamper me. Vander is just doing me a favor and when I succeed in getting admitted to the assassination school, I will be all alone without him. "When do you think I will be ready to go Vander?" I asked vaguely and he turned to look at me. "You are not ready yet, Amphitrite. But I believe that in few weeks you will be ready to go." He assured and I nodded slightly. "Are you hungry?" He asked
It's been weeks since I have been training with Vander and I think that I'm ready to go to the assassination school but Vander hardly mentions it, maybe I should just confront him about everything. I should tell him that I'm ready to go. "Um.. Vander, I.. I need to talk to you." I stammered walking into his weapon room while he was sharpening his knife. "What's it little one?" He asked his attention turned to the knife and I sucked in breath. "When are you taking me there." I rushed my words and he knitted his brows, "Taking you where?" He asked. "To the assassination school." I grumbled and he sighed deeply. "You are not ready yet, Amphitrite." He said calmly continuing what he was doing. "You have been saying that for the past two weeks!" I raised my small voice at him and he dropped the knife whirling his head to look at m
I can't deny the fact that I had a great time with Vander today but I still want to go to the school so that I can have my revenge. I really want to have my revenge on those five bad men who took my parents away from me. "We need to talk, little one." Vander muttered sitting besides me which made me wonder what he wanted to talk about. "Well.. I have decided to get you admitted to the school. You are ready little one and I cannot hold you back." He muttered and my heart leaped in joy but I didn't express it but I know that I will miss Vander when I'm gone. "We are living tomorrow. Be prepared." He said with his voice filled with so much emotions but he didn't show it. He was looking sad but I didn't understand why. Maybe he is going to miss me too just like I'm going miss him. "Okay." I whispered under my breath. "Go and have some
**Ten years later** I woke up from my slumber, took a cold bath on a freezing Monday morning. The winter sun peeping through the window, signaling me that the day I have been waiting for is here. I wore my black boots, my hair strictly tied up in a long ponytail. Even if I hate this hair so much I dare not cut it because Vander restricted me from cutting it short. It's been ten years since I have been in this hell hole, training my sweat out, getting treated harshly but I didn't give up. Everyone else has left including my roommate slash friend Riley and my other friend Henry. They left five years ago but I didn't leave because I wanted to be the best. I'm the longest reining student assassin here, no one has ever studied in this horrible terrifying school for longer than five to six years which clearly makes me the best assassin in this school. Vander was right about one thing, it's dang
After my hunting game with Vander I took a bath and wore new fresh clothes. I have to meet Henry in an hour, I want to know more about the red scorpions. I can't wait to get my hands on the people who wanted to kill Vander. "I'm going to meet Henry." I muttered sharply walking past him not waiting to hear what he even has to say to me. I know that he is trying to stop me from going after them but I'm freaking stubborn and he should learn that about me. I won't take this matter lightly knowing that his life is in danger. I got into his car and started the ignition, don't ask me where I learned to drive because I won't answer that. I don't know the town really well because my whole life I have been locked into the house, far away from bad people but now I'm well exposed to the dangers of the world and I'm ready for it. It's a good thing that Henry sent me the location of the bar that he wants us to
I took a deep frustrated breath when I stopped the ignition of the car. It's been ten years, ten agonizing years living with the memories of my parents. The memories of their death is still so fresh in my mind, every time I close my eyes I can see them. The tears on their face. The pain. And it makes me more angry, anger is the only feeling that I'm feeling right now. Anger towards those who took my parents away from me and anger towards those who wanted to take Vander away from me. Pricks of rain falling on the wet green grass. I almost forgot how it feels like to be drenched in the raging rain. My boot touched the ground and then the other, I lost my breath, I couldn't breath. I thought I killed these kind of feelings ten years ago but they are still so fresh, my wounds are not healed yet. Pain. I felt the rain drops on my skin and I closed my eyes inhaling the scent that I left ten years ago.
I sat in a bar and ordered some refreshments to drink, watching Gunnar keenly. He had a girl sitting on his lap, giggling and smiling. A cigarette between his fingers, squeezing the girl's buttock. It's been two weeks planning my attack and today is the day I'm killing one of them and I also want some answers to my questions. He has aged, but still so stupid and foolish. They thought I was joking when I said I'm going to have my revenge on them, silly bastards. It's so unfortunate that he's not going to be alive tomorrow.A resounding slap landed on his cheek as the girl stood up from his thighs staggering back with a scowl on her face. She huffed and scrolled away from his presence. I saw how his veins popped out of his skin, he was angry. I wondered what he said to the girl that made her that angry. His eyes darted towards me and a sloppy smile found it's way on his face, I felt nauseous with the way he was devouring my body wi
A man was seen sitting on the private section in the bar, sipping on his glass of tequila. "Damn that clumsy man," he cursed. He remembered the clumsy man that bumped into him earlier on, if it was up to him, he would have shot a bullet right into his empty skull but he didn't want to create a scene nor attract any attention on him. He has been called out for a mission to kill a lady assassin. He has to fly all the way to New Orleans to kill the lady, he couldn't refuse because he was been paid a heavy dime for it. He glanced at the picture again for the second time and he frowned, for an assassin like him to be called on such a mission is rare, he's the best assassin that has ever lived and he charges a lot so many avoid him but the particular man paid him anything that he demanded. The girl must have been brutal, he thought. But her face looks so innocent inside the mask, innocent faces deceive, he hissed. He also wondered how he was going to determine
Alex sighed flopping himself on the now neatly arranged bed. "So?" Jaxon wiggled his brows. "So what?" Alex acted ignorant. "You can't tell me that I'm lying, you're still in love with her," Jaxon snapped at his cousin. "I-i am not in love with her—" "Cut the bull's crap Alex, you still love that bítch after everything that she did to you." He scoffed, "That's pathetic and you know it." "It's not easy Jax, I've tried to move on but I can't. Everything that I do takes me back to her. I think about her every single day, sleeping around makes me forget," he mumbled and Jaxon scowled at him. "For fúcks sake Alex, try and get into a stable relationship, let's go back to New Orleans. You will definitely forget about Madison and move on with another girl, trust me on this." Jaxon tried to convince his
A smile creeped on my face as I watched her sleep peacefully like a little baby, faint snores escaping from her pouty mouth. She looked so innocent while sleeping soundly, like a person who doesn't have any problems at all in life. The immense hatred in her heart has taken her smile away from her, her innocence and her immorality. I knew that there was something about her when I rescued her out of that raging river. I have never seen a much more courageous girl like my little Amphitrite, sadly she's not little anymore she is a grown up woman, not my little one anymore. I want to dig out more about her parents but I'm not sure if I will ever find out anything about them since they are extinguished from existence. Everything about her reminds me of my beautiful Sienna, her gray eyes and black long shiny silky hair. I told her not to cut it because she looks so much like Sienna. Something is not r
"Stop!" Henry yelled and I abruptly stopped the ignition. "What the heck!" I snapped. He always grins stupidly and I'm starting to hate it. "Wipe that stupid grin of your face Henry and tell me why you asked me to stop the car." There's no one as annoying as Henry. "Riley..." He trailed off. "She stays around here but—" "But what?" I asked. "I'm not sure where she stays. It's been a long time since I've been here." He blurted. "You imbecile. I thought you said you knew where she stays." I sneered, fuming in anger. He can't tell me that he knows where Riley stays and tell me otherwise. "We can scan the whole area though. I know her apartment when I see it." He mumbled. I will never trust him, ever again. I have to see Riley sooner o
~Sparrow Bruce, 30 years of age. Two daughters and divorced.~ How can someone involve his children in his dirty games, he's the same man with the scorpion tattoo. Those poor little girls are probably going to lose their father, if he doesn't cooperate with me of course. I couldn't argue with Vander anymore so I just decided to let that fool Henry follow me. I wanted to know who attempted to kill my first master. My real mission hasn't started yet and I felt so excited to get rid of all the bad guys. I love using arrows to kill people, until now I've used them to hunt down animals for food but starting from this moment I'm going to use them to hunt down bad guys. I also took knives and guns incase I have an emergency. I have studied what his house looks like and it's heavily guarded, it's not easy to get into the house but he's not as clever as he thinks. I found the perfect way to sneak in. He can't stop me, no one will stop Amphitrite fro
