It's been weeks since I have been training with Vander and I think that I'm ready to go to the assassination school but Vander hardly mentions it, maybe I should just confront him about everything. I should tell him that I'm ready to go.
"Um.. Vander, I.. I need to talk to you." I stammered walking into his weapon room while he was sharpening his knife.
"What's it little one?" He asked his attention turned to the knife and I sucked in breath.
"When are you taking me there." I rushed my words and he knitted his brows, "Taking you where?" He asked.
"To the assassination school." I grumbled and he sighed deeply. "You are not ready yet, Amphitrite." He said calmly continuing what he was doing.
"You have been saying that for the past two weeks!" I raised my small voice at him and he dropped the knife whirling his head to look at me. "You. Are. Not. Ready." He enunciated and I frowned.
"When will I be ready then? It looks like you don't even want to take me there!" I castigated breathing heavily.
"You are still a child Amphitrite, you don't know anything. I will determine when you are ready to leave and I will let you leave but as for now go and rest, we have another session tomorrow." He muttered calmly picking up his knife and I huffed stomping my feet on the ground walking out of his room.
He is wrong, I'm ready and I can feel it. I want to go now and he is delaying everything. I saged on the bed with a huge frown on my face. I removed a locket on my neck and glared at our happy faces in the locket, it's the only souvenir that I have now and I will nourish it with everything in me.
I heard the door open and I closed the locket fixing it back on my neck, keeping my face hard and expressionless.
"Little one?" He called but I didn't whirl my head to look at him. I felt the bed sink down indicating that he sat besides me. "Are you angry at me?" He asked and I kept my mouth shut.
"What do you want?" He asked gently.
"I want to go. Please get me admitted now." I said clutching on his hand.
"How do you know that, little one?" He asked.
"I can feel it Vander, I'm ready and—"
"Feeling won't save you Amphitrite. You have to be surely ready for this. I know what it's like staying there and it's not easy." He explained and I sighed sadly.
"But—" he chipped in, "No buts Amphitrite, you are not ready yet. I'm not sending you there to sign your death sentence, I want you to make me proud." He mumbled and I nodded in understanding.

A smile found it's way on Vander's face as he glanced little Amphitrite's sleeping figure. She looks so innocent when she is asleep, one wouldn't guess that she has that rage and fire inside of her. All she wants is revenge and nothing more.
He covered her fully with a blanket and kissed her forehead as he whispered a low 'good night' to her. He can't deny the fact that he has grown fond of her and he doesn't want her to leave, not yet.
Little Amphitrite reminds him of his beautiful Sienna and he doesn't know why. He doesn't want her to leave because he would be feeling that he is letting his Sienna go away from him again but little Amphitrite is so persistent about living and if it makes her happy then he has to let her go. She is working hard everyday because she wants to get admitted and he has to fulfill her wish. He wondered if she will ever learn to forgive or love anyone again.
She is not like normal ten year olds, she is broken, she has that dark aura around her that reminds him of himself when he was young. She is craving for revenge and nothing more and he knows that he can never change her mind about this, not in a million years.
He sighed before switching off the lights and walked into his room. He took out a photo of his Sienna and kissed it slightly clutching tightly on it. "I miss you so freaking much." He muttered stroking the pictures where his Sienna was smiling widely.
"I wish I can turn back the hands of time." He muttered sadly. He took out a beautiful hairpin that he bought for Sienna when she was still alive but didn't get a chance to put it on.
'It will look good on little one.' He thought with a small smile.
It's hard to let her go even though he knows that she is ready to go but he is being hesitant about it. He has to give in, he has to let her go soon.
She has been the best student so far.

"Vander... " he heard a distant voice call, it was little and he felt little hands tugging his t-shirt.
"Huh?" He hummed rubbing his eyes only to find little Amphitrite sitting on his bed fully dressed for the day and that's when it clicked to him that he overslept. He has been chatting to Sienna's photo yesternight and he completely forgot that he has to train her for the day.
"Wake up!" She grunted tugging his shirt.
"I'm up already." He mumbled taking the bed cover off him, slipping out of bed.
"You are up already?" He couldn't hide the amusement on his face as he said that and she nodded vigorously.
"Today we are taking a day off." Vander muttered and she frowned, "No Vander, I don't want to take a day off. You said I'm not ready to get admitted to the school." She complained and he scratched the bridge of his nose. 'I was wrong, you are ready, little one.' He almost blurted out but stopped himself.
"Um.. We can go out hunting." He suggested and she nodded as she liked the idea of hunting. She has grown ford of going out hunting with him. She has mastered how to shot an arrow and it makes her happy. She will use it as a strategy to tackle her enemies.
"I'll be down in few minutes." He dismissed and she hurried out his room sliding through the corridor to the living room.
"I will make us something to eat." He muttered walking towards the kitchen.

"Shot little one." He whispered and she suckled in breath. They were in the forest hunting for meat. The last one was heck delicious and Amphitrite couldn't deny that in any way. After taking a deep breath her arrow pierced through the rabbit's stomach and thin lines appeared on her face to show her joy.
"Good job." He praised picking up the dead rabbit and she nodded like a soldier in the army.
"Let's move." He said and she trailed behind him. He really wants to create some memories with her before she leaves him, probably forever so he hurled her into his broad shoulder. "Vander?... " she trailed off.
"Relax, little one. I'm not going to drop you." He muttered with a chuckle and she made herself comfortable on his shoulder. It made her remember her father and it almost made her teary but she dares not cry.
He took her to the waterfall again, the moment he dropped her down he splashed water on her and she cringed out, "Vander stop it!" She exclaimed.
"Let's see if you can win this fight, little one!" He exclaimed with a mishevious glint on his face splashing her with a high quantity of water and she returned the favor by using her two little hands to splash him and she giggled, Vander froze as he heard tiny giggles escaping from her. She used the opportunity to push him hard and he fell into the water with a loud thud, she giggled loudly sticking her tongue out at him in mockery.
"You little swine! Come here!" He grunted playfully hurling her into his arms. He knew that tomorrow it will all be gone because he will be announcing her departure to the school.
She wants this, he can't take it away from her.

I can't deny the fact that I had a great time with Vander today but I still want to go to the school so that I can have my revenge. I really want to have my revenge on those five bad men who took my parents away from me. "We need to talk, little one." Vander muttered sitting besides me which made me wonder what he wanted to talk about. "Well.. I have decided to get you admitted to the school. You are ready little one and I cannot hold you back." He muttered and my heart leaped in joy but I didn't express it but I know that I will miss Vander when I'm gone. "We are living tomorrow. Be prepared." He said with his voice filled with so much emotions but he didn't show it. He was looking sad but I didn't understand why. Maybe he is going to miss me too just like I'm going miss him. "Okay." I whispered under my breath. "Go and have some
**Ten years later** I woke up from my slumber, took a cold bath on a freezing Monday morning. The winter sun peeping through the window, signaling me that the day I have been waiting for is here. I wore my black boots, my hair strictly tied up in a long ponytail. Even if I hate this hair so much I dare not cut it because Vander restricted me from cutting it short. It's been ten years since I have been in this hell hole, training my sweat out, getting treated harshly but I didn't give up. Everyone else has left including my roommate slash friend Riley and my other friend Henry. They left five years ago but I didn't leave because I wanted to be the best. I'm the longest reining student assassin here, no one has ever studied in this horrible terrifying school for longer than five to six years which clearly makes me the best assassin in this school. After my hunting game with Vander I took a bath and wore new fresh clothes. I have to meet Henry in an hour, I want to know more about the red scorpions. I can't wait to get my hands on the people who wanted to kill Vander. "I'm going to meet Henry." I muttered sharply walking past him not waiting to hear what he even has to say to me. I know that he is trying to stop me from going after them but I'm freaking stubborn and he should learn that about me. I won't take this matter lightly knowing that his life is in danger. I got into his car and started the ignition, don't ask me where I learned to drive because I won't answer that. I don't know the town really well because my whole life I have been locked into the house, far away from bad people but now I'm well exposed to the dangers of the world and I'm ready for it. It's a good thing that Henry sent me the location of the bar that he wants us to
I took a deep frustrated breath when I stopped the ignition of the car. It's been ten years, ten agonizing years living with the memories of my parents. The memories of their death is still so fresh in my mind, every time I close my eyes I can see them. The tears on their face. The pain. And it makes me more angry, anger is the only feeling that I'm feeling right now. Anger towards those who took my parents away from me and anger towards those who wanted to take Vander away from me. Pricks of rain falling on the wet green grass. I almost forgot how it feels like to be drenched in the raging rain. My boot touched the ground and then the other, I lost my breath, I couldn't breath. I thought I killed these kind of feelings ten years ago but they are still so fresh, my wounds are not healed yet. Pain. I felt the rain drops on my skin and I closed my eyes inhaling the scent that I left ten years ago.

I sat in a bar and ordered some refreshments to drink, watching Gunnar keenly. He had a girl sitting on his lap, giggling and smiling. A cigarette between his fingers, squeezing the girl's buttock. It's been two weeks planning my attack and today is the day I'm killing one of them and I also want some answers to my questions. He has aged, but still so stupid and foolish. They thought I was joking when I said I'm going to have my revenge on them, silly bastards. It's so unfortunate that he's not going to be alive tomorrow.A resounding slap landed on his cheek as the girl stood up from his thighs staggering back with a scowl on her face. She huffed and scrolled away from his presence. I saw how his veins popped out of his skin, he was angry. I wondered what he said to the girl that made her that angry. His eyes darted towards me and a sloppy smile found it's way on his face, I felt nauseous with the way he was devouring my body wi
A man was seen sitting on the private section in the bar, sipping on his glass of tequila. "Damn that clumsy man," he cursed. He remembered the clumsy man that bumped into him earlier on, if it was up to him, he would have shot a bullet right into his empty skull but he didn't want to create a scene nor attract any attention on him. He has been called out for a mission to kill a lady assassin. He has to fly all the way to New Orleans to kill the lady, he couldn't refuse because he was been paid a heavy dime for it. He glanced at the picture again for the second time and he frowned, for an assassin like him to be called on such a mission is rare, he's the best assassin that has ever lived and he charges a lot so many avoid him but the particular man paid him anything that he demanded. The girl must have been brutal, he thought. But her face looks so innocent inside the mask, innocent faces deceive, he hissed. He also wondered how he was going to determine
