I can't deny the fact that I had a great time with Vander today but I still want to go to the school so that I can have my revenge. I really want to have my revenge on those five bad men who took my parents away from me.
"We need to talk, little one." Vander muttered sitting besides me which made me wonder what he wanted to talk about.
"Well.. I have decided to get you admitted to the school. You are ready little one and I cannot hold you back." He muttered and my heart leaped in joy but I didn't express it but I know that I will miss Vander when I'm gone.
"We are living tomorrow. Be prepared." He said with his voice filled with so much emotions but he didn't show it. He was looking sad but I didn't understand why. Maybe he is going to miss me too just like I'm going miss him.
"Okay." I whispered under my breath.
"Go and have some rest, we are living on the wee hours of the morrow." He said and I nodded standing on my feet walking towards my room. I took one backward glance and Vander had his head buried on his palms.
I packed all of my clothes into my bag and rested my head on the pillow as I thought of all the moments that I spend with him. I wanted this and I can't turn back now.
********
"Amphitrite!..." I heard a distant voice call and I jerked up from my slumber.
"Wake up, it's time to leave!.." He said more louder than before.
"Take a bath and come downstairs." He muttered leaving the room and I made my way to the bathroom in a jiffy. I grabbed my bag and bid farewell to the room for the last time. I will miss sleeping on the bed and having all of those nightmares that I never want to lose.
After taking my bath I wore my clothes as I made my way downstairs. "Eat up. You can't travel on an empty stomach."
I ate my meal. Vander is a bad cooker but I will miss his food, it has kept me strong for the weeks that I have spent with him. I will also miss this horrifying house. I took one last glance before Vander announced our departure. He is acting distant today and and I don't know why.
"Come little one, let's leave." He mumbled as I trailed behind him to the car.
The whole drive to our destination was quiet, Vander didn't mutter any word to me.
I looked at the school in bewilderment, it was horrifying more like a grave yard. My heart started beating faster as my thoughts bubbled into my mind, am I going to survive here? I swallowed a lump on my throat. "Let's go." Vander muttered buckling out his seatbelt and I did the same.
He walked towards my side and squated before me, "Are you okay?" He asked worriedly and I nodded hesitantly.
"This is what you wanted right? You are a strong girl, believe in yourself and don't let anyone pull you down." He adviced and I nodded slightly.
"Come on, let's get you admitted." He muttered with a deep sigh taking my little hand in his.
This is what I wanted and I won't give up. I won't have peace until I take them down once and for all.
The school was huge with tons of children and adults, some of them had huge scowls on their faces while some of them had frowns. I guess everyone had a mission towards coming here. Except one... One of them was smiling sheepishly at me. It was a boy, a young boy about three to four years older than me. Two pair of brown orbs were glaring at me, he had dark brown hair. I looked away from him abruptly with a huge frown on my face.
"Stand here Amphitrite, I'm going to be back." Vander said taking a particular destination.
"Amphitrite... What a nice name you have there." A voice said and it turned out to be the boy with brown eyes. His eyes were brimming but I don't know whether they were brimming with happiness or what. Brown orbs!!
I looked away from him not looking to start a conversation with anyone. I never had friends before neither am I going to start having them now.
"My name is Henry, nice to meet you Amphitrite." He said smugly raising up his hand for a handshake but I ignored him.
"What's a beautiful girl like you doing in a dangerous and horrifying place like this?" He asked.
I took a deep breath before passing him a malicious glare but he just grinned at me foolishly. What the.. This guy is a total creep. "Stay away from me!" I grunted and he flinched slightly.
"Woah! You are not just beautiful but fierce too. That's splendid!" He shrieked and I wondered what a clown like him was doing here in the first place.
"I have been here for the past two years." He muttered and that's when I realized that I said that aloud. I looked at him in astonishment, two years? I had so many questions to ask him but kept my mouth sealed. I do not want to give him an opportunity to befriend me in any way.
"I came here when I was twelve years old." He said.
"It's not bad here, all you have to do is to stay focused and cautious, you will be fine. I guarantee you that." He said answering all the questions I wanted to ask as if he was some mind reader or something.
"See you later AT, I'm going to see you around." He said with a wink, bolting away from me disappearing into the dark. He just called me AT and I don't like it.
I whirled my head to the other side and Vander was approaching me. "I have gotten you admitted. You will stay here from now on." He said, his voice hoarse.
"This is goodbye, little one. I will miss you." He said kissing my forehead and my lips quivered slightly. "Vander... I will miss you too." I choked out as I hugged him tightly.
I felt something cold sliding into my hair, "The hairpin belonged to Sienna but I'm giving it to you today. Keep it and don't lose it." He warned and I left out a weak defeated smile.
"It looks good on you." He complimented with a light smile on his face.
"Thank you." I whispered my eyes brimming with sadness.
"I'm only an hour away from you don't hesitate to give me a call okay? Take care. " He chipped and I nodded as he walked away from me but not before giving me another kiss on the cheek.
I took a deep breath as I watch his figure disappear until he was out of sight.
"AT." That annoying voice called again and I huffed. "My name is not AT." I grunted with my little voice and he chuckled like a fool. "Fine, fine." He said sarcastically and I grabbed my bag walking away from him.
"I'm appointed to escort you to your dorm AT—i mean Amphitrite." He yelled running after me and I frowned. Why would they appoint this fool?
"This way my lady." He said with a little bow and I huffed trailing behind him.
As I walked I noticed how they were training, they were using all sorts of dangerous materials including sharp knives and guns. I cringed but didn't show it. I'm here to learn and I won't give up until I succeed in my mission.
"We are here Amphitrite, this is going to be your dorm from now on. Each room has two beds meaning that you have a roommate." He explained and I just nodded. "Good luck, you are going to see more of me since you will be staying here. See you later Amphitrite." He said with a wink and I squeezed my face in annoyance as he walked away.
I opened the door and it made a creaking sound and shivers ran down my spine as I wondered who my roommate would be, whether it was a bully or a nice person but I'm ready to take on everything that comes my way. The room was manageable, it wasn't small nor big. On the right side was a neatly arranged bed which I assumed was my roommate's bed so I approached the left one and arranged my clothes in the little cupboard.
I heard a knock on the door and my heart skipped two beats before I rushed to open the door and it was that guy Henry again, with his stupid smile boldly printed on his stupid face but to be honest he was good looking.
"Can I come in?" He asked inviting himself in the room. "Well.. I forgot to give you your schedule for your tasks starting from tomorrow since you are a newbie." He mumbled handing me a piece of paper and I gladly collected it from him.
"Can we um... Can we be friends?" He rushed his words.
"I mean um... I can show you the whole school, like your tour guide or something." He mumbled scratching the back of his neck and I nodded with a shrug.
"The hairpin looks beautiful on you." He complimented and I sighed, "can we move on please." I mumbled.
"Ah.. Yes. After you." He said holding the door for me and i rolled my eyes at him.
We walked side by side and he kept murmuring one thing or another. He told me where we eat our meals and so many things that was needed to be known.
The school was far the biggest thing that I have seen in my entire life. "Huge right?" He asked and I nodded.
I whirled my head to look around but my glance lingered on a girl, she was beautiful with her brown short hair and she was wearing brown jeans with brown boots. Seemed that her favorite color was brown. He eyes were directed to Henry, she was looking at him dreamily as if she was seeing a celebrity or something. "I'm going to get us something to drink." Henry muttered and left.
Someone tapped on my shoulder and it turned out to be the girl with brown hair. "Hi, my name is Riley and yours?" She asked, she looked older than me more like Henry's age.
"I.. I, my name is Amphitrite." I murmured and she smiled.
"Your name is unique and beautiful." She praised.
"Why are you here Amphitrite?" She asked curiously.
"For revenge." I mumbled under my breath.
"So is um.. Henry your.. " she trailed off.
"He offered to be my tour guide for the day. I'm new here." I explained.
"Here is your water AT." Henry said coming towards us.
"You already found another friend, that's cool." Henry said smugly and Riley stood there looking like a statue.
"Her name is Riley." I chipped.
"Nice to meet you Riley, i'm Henry." He said with a polite smile.
"Ermm.. Um.. Nice t-to meet you Henry." She stammered.
I felt weird around them or maybe it's because I never had friends before. The three of us scanned the whole facility.
"I think it's time to get back now. It's going to meal time soon. We have to have our baths before going to have our meals." Riley explained and Henry nodded.
"Where is your dorm Amphitrite?" Riley asked.
"J16." Henry said and Riley gasped.
"Wow! You are my new roomie!" Riley shrieked excitedly.
At least Riley is my new roommate but I have to remember what I'm here for, I'm not here to have friends. I'm here to be prepared to have my revenge against those who wronged me.
I'm here for a purpose and I will focus on that.
I'm on a mission, a deadly mission.
Review and rate. To be continued my lovelies❤
**Ten years later** I woke up from my slumber, took a cold bath on a freezing Monday morning. The winter sun peeping through the window, signaling me that the day I have been waiting for is here. I wore my black boots, my hair strictly tied up in a long ponytail. Even if I hate this hair so much I dare not cut it because Vander restricted me from cutting it short. It's been ten years since I have been in this hell hole, training my sweat out, getting treated harshly but I didn't give up. After my hunting game with Vander I took a bath and wore new fresh clothes. I have to meet Henry in an hour, I want to know more about the red scorpions. I can't wait to get my hands on the people who wanted to kill Vander. "I'm going to meet Henry." I muttered sharply walking past him not waiting to hear what he even has to say to me. I know that he is trying to stop me from going after them but I'm freaking stubborn and he should learn that about me. I won't take this matter lightly knowing that his life is in danger. I got into his car and started the ignition, don't ask me where I learned to drive because I won't answer that. I don't know the town really well because my whole life I have been locked into the house, far away from bad people but now I'm well exposed to the dangers of the world and I'm ready for it. It's a good thing that Henry sent me the location of the bar that he wants us to
I took a deep frustrated breath when I stopped the ignition of the car. It's been ten years, ten agonizing years living with the memories of my parents. The memories of their death is still so fresh in my mind, every time I close my eyes I can see them. The tears on their face. The pain. And it makes me more angry, anger is the only feeling that I'm feeling right now. Anger towards those who took my parents away from me and anger towards those who wanted to take Vander away from me. Pricks of rain falling on the wet green grass. I almost forgot how it feels like to be drenched in the raging rain. My boot touched the ground and then the other, I lost my breath, I couldn't breath. I thought I killed these kind of feelings ten years ago but they are still so fresh, my wounds are not healed yet. Pain. I felt the rain drops on my skin and I closed my eyes inhaling the scent that I left ten years ago.

I sat in a bar and ordered some refreshments to drink, watching Gunnar keenly. He had a girl sitting on his lap, giggling and smiling. A cigarette between his fingers, squeezing the girl's buttock. It's been two weeks planning my attack and today is the day I'm killing one of them and I also want some answers to my questions. He has aged, but still so stupid and foolish. They thought I was joking when I said I'm going to have my revenge on them, silly bastards. It's so unfortunate that he's not going to be alive tomorrow.A resounding slap landed on his cheek as the girl stood up from his thighs staggering back with a scowl on her face. She huffed and scrolled away from his presence. I saw how his veins popped out of his skin, he was angry. I wondered what he said to the girl that made her that angry. His eyes darted towards me and a sloppy smile found it's way on his face, I felt nauseous with the way he was devouring my body wi
