Vander carried me inside the house and I couldn't help it but shiver vigorously.

"Go and take a bath, little one. You will catch a cold. Put on some dry clothes and come here. I will make you some hot cup of coffee." Vander said and I nodded my head hurrying into my room.

After taking my bath, I went downstairs. Vander handed me a cup of hot coffee and I collected it from him in a jiffy. I never liked coffee but I drank it anyways, I can't complain, my parents are no longer alive to pamper me. Vander is just doing me a favor and when I succeed in getting admitted to the assassination school, I will be all alone without him.

"When do you think I will be ready to go Vander?" I asked vaguely and he turned to look at me. "You are not ready yet, Amphitrite. But I believe that in few weeks you will be ready to go." He assured and I nodded slightly.

"Are you hungry?" He asked and I shook my head negatively. I don't even have any appetite to eat anything.

"You have to be strong little one. We are having another session tomorrow and you cannot train on an empty stomach." He suggested and I nodded slightly.

After forcing food down my throat we sat in silence. I have so many things to ask him but I just could not gather any courage to ask him anything.

"Talk." He said abruptly and I jerked up.

"W-why did you chose to become an assassin even though Sienna forbid you?" I asked curiously and he sighed deeply, closing his eyes as if he was meditating.

"I don't know, little one. I know it sounds pathetic but I don't really know, that's why I'm thinking of retiring." He muttered with his eyes closed.

"I lost the only woman that I loved because of this and I don't think I can continue being an assassin any longer." He mumbled and all I could do was nod my head in understanding.

"I think it's time for you to rest. Remember that you have an early session tomorrow. I will wake you up early tomorrow." He said and I slipped through the corridor to the room. I cannot say mine because it's not mine, my room got burned.

I slipped under the covers and closed my eyes, but the moment I close my eyes the flashbacks of that incident keeps on coming back to me. My mom's faint screams and my dad's agonizing screams.

Remembering that incident made my eyes water and I promised myself that I will not cry anymore. 'Big girls do not cry', I told myself.

I closed my eyes listening to the dripping of the rain on the roof top. I heard the cries of the thunder but I didn't cower away nor did I flinch. I have accepted the fact that my parents are gone and never coming back to me.

One thing lurks in my mind and that is revenge!

********

Visible light flashed on my face and I jerked up. Everything was white, pure white. It was heavenly beautiful with flowers surrounding everywhere.

"Little Amphitrite." I heard mom's voice call and I whirled my head around in a jiffy. There she was, my beautiful mother wearing a beautiful white dress with flower patterns. She looked even more beautiful than ever. Tears threatened to escape their ducts as I ran faster than my little legs could carry me and hugged her tightly.

"Mommy!" I called gently, hugging her tightly. Sobbing on her neatly beautiful dress.

"My little Amphitrite." She said gently squatting down in front of me as she wiped my tears with her thumb.

"Hush my little one. Mommy is here." She said and hugged her even more tightly.

"D-don't y-you ever leave me again." I cried out.

"W-where is daddy?" I asked with a stifled sniff.

"Daddy is right here my little princess." I heard my dad's voice say behind me and I hugged him with the same passion.

"And why is my little princess crying?" He asked wiping my tears.

"I had a terrible dream." I chocked out.

"You both left me alone and went away." I explained as dad hurled me into his arms tickling me and i started laughing my head off.

"D-daddy stop please!" I screamed and he laughed.

"Stop it Edward, she is going to have a stomachache." Mom warned sternly and dad stopped tickling me with a sigh.

"Please don't leave me again." I murmured snuggling into their arms.

It started getting darker all of the sudden and my heart started beating faster. I didn't understand what was going on anymore. The once beautiful, heavenly place has turned into a dark and horrifying place.

"Mom, dad let's get out of here, I'm scared." I cried out but got no response from neither of them.

I whirled my head around to look at them and screamed in horror, blood oozing out of my parent's mouths as they fell onto the ground with a loud thud.

"No!!" I screamed in horror shaking them vigorously.

"Little raven!.." I heard a voice hum behind me and i stiffened.

"Little raven!.." The voice hummed again, a little more nearer this time and that's when i recognized the voice.

It was the... The man with a scar. He stook slow steady steps towards me with a deep scowl on his face with four figures trailing behind him with smirks on their cold and hard faces.

"Come here my little gem. You have been a naughty little girl!" He growled and I moved back with blurry eyes.

"Stay away from me!" It was meant to come out as a scream but it came out as a whisper instead.

They circled me and started laughing at me. "Grab her!" The man with the scar growled and they grabbed me harshly.

"No! Leave me alone!" I cried out struggling with them but their grasps were too potent for me.

"Nooooo!" I screamed loudly and i started hearing a distant voice calling my name and shaking me vigorously.

"Snap out of it Amphitrite!" I heard Vander's voice and i jerked up breathing heavily, sweating profusely. It was just a dream, just a dream.

"Calm down little one. It was just a dream." Vander consoled calmly hugging me as I tried to calm my eradicate breathing.

"You have been screaming for almost an hour now." He said worriedly.

"I have been trying wake you up but you hit me instead." He added with a chuckle and I wiped the sweat off my face.

"W-what time is it?" I asked lightly.

"It's time to wake up and have your bath. Come downstairs, have your breakfast. Training starts in thirty minutes from now." He said walking out of the room and i slipped out of bed.

It's good that I'm having these kind of dreams, every morning i will wake up with a motive, a motive to hurt them brutally. I want to cause them pain, the exact pain that they caused me when they took my loved ones away from me without any backwards glance.

I took my shower and wore my black clothes, tied my hair up. I think i need to get rid of this hair too, it's annoying me right now.

I ate my bland food in silence and followed Vander outside the house to the backyard.

"Today you are going to throw a kick and a punch at the same time. I made you a dildo last night. That is your opponent, hit him as much as you can." He commanded firmly and i nodded vigorously.

"Wait!, come back!" He said and i walked towards him.

"Let me braid your hair. It will disturb you." He said and ushered me to sit down and i did.

"I want you to help me cut it short." I murmured.

"Whatever you do, little one. Don't you ever cut your hair." He suggested and i knitted my brows in confusion.

"Why?" I asked curiously and he went quiet before answering me, "Because I'm saying so, don't question your master." He muttered.

"That is not a valid reason." I said and he frowned. "It is Amphitrite, just do as i say and don't you ever cut it short." He insisted braiding my hair and it made me wonder where he learned to do that.

Wait!.. "Is this related to Sienna?" I asked and he sighed. He once mention that i looked like Sienna. Black long hair and grey eyes.

He chuckled softly, "You are one smart girl. Aren't you my little tigress?" He asked and I shrugged. "Figured it out." I murmured.

"Whatever you do. Promise me that you will never cut your hair." He muttered and I nodded. At least i can do this for him even though I wanted to get rid of my hair badly. I guess i do remind him of his Sienna.

"Done and dusted!" He announced.

"D-did you braid her hair like this?" I asked and he nodded. "She taught me how to do it and I learned how to. I used to braid her hair almost everyday." He groaned softly and cleared his throat.

"You can get back to your training now." He said dismissing me.

"Yes master Vander." I said hurrying away and i heard him chuckle.

I closed my eyes like the last time and imagined that the doll was one of those bad five men and started punching the doll face.

Kick.. Punch.. Kick... Punch...

"Enough for today, my little tigress." Vander said handing me a bottle of water and I gulped it down.

He passed me a clean towel and I wiped balls of sweats on my forehead.

"The weather is great today. Let's go hunting." He said and my body quivered.

"H-hunting?" I stammered and he nodded grinning sheepishly.

"Why?, are you scared Amphitrite?" He asked and i shook my head.

"I will teach you how to use an arrow, follow me." He said grabbing his bag that I assumed had his weapons for hunting.

"W-what are we hunting for?" I asked with a stutter trailing behind him.

"Any animal that is delicious and eatable." He murmured and I squeezed my face in disgust.

"Are we going to eat it?" I asked and he nodded with a shrug, "that's exactly what i said dear, any animal that is delicious and eatable." He repeated.

"What if we get sick?" I asked and he laughed, "Do you eat meat, little tigress?" He asked and i nodded. "Have you ever gotten sick from eating meat?" He asked and i shook my head.

"Where do you think it comes from?" He asked and I shrugged.

"They kill animals and sell it, you go to the shop and buy the meat. You cook it and eat but you don't get sick." He explained and I muttered an 'oh'.

"What are we hunting for—"

"Shush!" He said raising his brows and i turned to look at a rabbit looking for food. It looked so cute but sadly it was going to die soon.

"Our meat." Vander said with a smirk removing an arrow from his bag. In one go he was able to shoot the rabbit and it died right there on the spot.

We walked towards it and Vander picked it up. "Follow me." He said and i followed him like an obedient little puppy. We arrived at a waterfall and a gasped escaped from my mouth. I looked at the place in awe, it was beautiful. Water flowing heavily.

"Time to catch some fishes." He muttered handing me an arrow and I took it from him.

"Let's see if you can shoot at least one." He said folding his arms, his eyes peering down to mine and I swallowed a lump on my throat. I have never used an arrow before, my hands were shaking like a leaf as i grasped it tightly.

He sagged down behind me and helped me to balance the arrow, "Relax." He said and I took a deep breath.

"Focus little one. Don't let anything disturb you okay." He suggested and i nodded, taking a deep breath. Focusing on my targets.

"Shoot!" He said and I left the arrow go and it pierced into the fish's flesh, blood oozing out of it's body and i smiled widely. I have developed a liking for blood.

"Good." He praised.

Those men better watch out because their worst nightmare is coming soon!!

"Let's go little one. You did well today." He praised picking up  his bag and i nodded trailing behind him back to the house.

Tomorrow is another day for another lesson and I'm ready to tackle my opponents in every aspect.

He has been called out for a mission to kill a lady assassin. He has to fly all the way to New Orleans to kill the lady, he couldn't refuse because he was been paid a heavy dime for it. He glanced at the picture again for the second time and he frowned, for an assassin like him to be called on such a mission is rare, he's the best assassin that has ever lived and he charges a lot so many avoid him but the particular man paid him anything that he demanded.
