LOGAN’S POV

“Now now, why are you holding your dagger, Killian? We aren’t here to fight or anything,” he said. The tall fellow looked like an alpha. No, he doesn’t look like one, he is one. He looks like someone I’ve seen before but I can’t remember where.

“Who are you and why do you know my name?” Killian asked, wearing a hard scowl on his face.

“Calm down, Killian. I’m not here to cause any trouble. After all, I’m a friend of Alpha Logan’s,” he said with a wide grin on his face.

“Friend?” Gertrude asked, puzzled. “You really think you can fool us?”

“I’m not fooling anyone, Gertrude. I’m just stating a fact,” he said as he giggled.

“Who are you?” I asked while staring at him.

“Oh my! Why would you ask me that question? Have you suddenly forgotten who I am? C’mon Logan, it’s Noel, your childhood friend,” his tone became thicker when he said the last word in his sentence.

“I don’t know any Noel,” I replied.

“That’s always like you. You have a poor memory while I have an excellent one.
