AMBER’S POV

It’s been two months since Alice left and I’ve missed her. It was so good to finally find someone I could relate to. Before we became friends we were like magnets of the same poles. We were sworn enemies who didn’t wish for the well being of the other. We both became friends because of the help of Aloha Scott. If he hadn’t pushed us together in the pretext of dining we wouldn’t have become friends so I’m indebted to him.

“What’s wrong, Amber? You’ve been spacing out quite a lot lately,” Beth said with a worried look laced around her face.

“No no. It’s nothing, Beth,” I said, wearing a wide grin on my face.

“You don’t look alright. You’re always lost in your thoughts. Why don’t we do something?” She asked.

“Something like what?” I asked, all riddled. I was guessing that she wanted the both of us to do something together because I hadn’t been paying much attention to her and it was as clear as day that she wasn’t happy about it.
