LUKE’S POV

I woke up earlier than usual today. Today was the day Ghen and I was supposed to embark on a mission. Alpha Logan also has to leave for his mission but he hasn’t woken up yet. It was four o’clock in the morning. The weaker was cloudy and cold, like it was about to rain. I took a folded tent and shoved it into my bag. I took a lighter with me as well.I had freshened up quickly even after knowing that it was too early, I alerted Ghen and he also got ready. We prepared properly before leaving the palace.

Our journey started after we left the territory of the Red fanged pack. We made sure to pass by the territory of neighboring packs unnoticed in order not to start an unplanned war. Though our coat was pretty tough; it wasn't tough enough to shelter us from the cold of the incoming rain.

“Looks like it’s going to rain soon,” Ghen said while gazing at the clouds.

“You’re right. We’d better find shelter before it begins,” I said.
