LOGAN’S POV

I woke up when the sun had just begun to rise. I went into the bathroom to shower and freshen up. After a while, a maiden brought Gertrude’s back. I had asked her to bathe him. Gertrude and I were ready to leave for the Howling dawn pack. The only person delaying me was Killian. He hasn’t arrived. Gertrude and I decided to have a drink. It was when we were about to take a sip from our glass when we heard a knock on the door.

“Come in, Killian,” I said.

He came into the room with his head bowed.

“My apologies, Master. I was busy sharpening my arrows. Once again, my apologies,” Killian pleaded as he got down on one knee.

I wore an ugly look on my face. I wasn’t angry at him because he arrived late. I was angry at him for arriving when I was just about to drink my whisky. Well, I wouldn’t want to waste two glasses of whisky like that. I snatched both glasses from the table and chugged them simultaneously.
