Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas
.Chapter 1.“You wanted to see me?” Anais asked cautiously after she knocked on her boss’ door.Ivy Madeline looked up from her work and quickly slid her eyes up and down her body. Anais was still in her jeans and t-shirt as it was just after lunch. Hazel had come to find her while they were eating and told her that Madam Ivy wanted to see Anais as soon as she was done.“Ah, Anais. Come in please. Have a seat.”Anais cautiously walked into the lush office and sat in one of the chairs across from her desk. A meeting with her didn’t automatically mean something was wrong, but it was not something that happened every day. Anais was always on guard but especially in an unknown situation.Ivy put down her pen and folded her arms on the table. “How are you?” She asked.Anais frowned and looked at her. “I’m fine, thank you.” She wasn’t sure why she was asking. “Is something wrong?”.Ivy smiled at her, her crimson lips parting to reveal straight, white teeth. “Nothing at all, Anais. In fact, I have a special assignment for you tonight. There are several alphas, friends of Mr. Viktor’s, who are coming in. They have a mutual business associate who is in town that Mr. Viktor wants to treat.”Anais nodded. She relaxed slightly. She had a feeling she knew where this was going. “What do you want me to do?” “You’ll be assigned to the three of them for the evening. I expect that you’ll perform well. Make sure that you look your best and service them until they are satisfied.”Anais gave her a firm nod. “I will,” She assured her.Ivy nodded slowly and sat back. She picked up her pen and Anais knew he was dismissed. She rose and got several feet from the door when Ivy spoke again.“If they aren’t satisfied tonight, Anais, you’ll be fired,” Ivy said. Anais turned to look at her. She saw that she meant it, but there was sympathy there. “Mr. Viktor was quite clear on his expectations. I know you’ll do your best and the alphas won’t have any complaints, but I thought you should know.”Anais swallowed, a clench of fear tightened her belly. “Understood.”She left and headed straight to her room to get ready. She would need to take extra time to make sure she looked good. Her entire life depended on making sure tonight went well.***Anais looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. She fixed her hair and smiled at herself. The smile didn’t quite reach her eyes, but it would be good enough for the alphas tonight. Anais didn’t even know who it was that was coming, but if it made Madam Ivy threaten her job, it must be someone important. She wondered if she would know the alphas when they got there. She undid the soft grey robe she had and let it fall off of her shoulders. She threw it on her small twin bed and walked the three steps to the door where her outfit was hanging. Anais fingered the material on the lingerie and nodded once. She needed to impress these alphas and she would do it. Madam Ivy made it clear she would be out if anything went wrong, and Anais couldn’t let that happen. She would make sure tonight was the best night they had ever had.She carefully pulled the strappy, lacy bra and thong off of the hanger and clips and put them on. She followed them with the garter and thigh highs. She grimaced when she looked at the heels, but she put them on. She usually didn’t care what she wore, it wasn’t for long anyway, but she disliked heels. Her feet were too big for them to be comfortable and she always felt like she was going to fall.Anais sat on the narrow bed and took a look around the small bedroom that had been hers for the last few years. She didn’t have much in the way of possessions and very little money to buy anything anyway. She was paid mostly in food and housing. She never thought she would be an omega who had to sell their body, but she was. Her father and brother had died three years ago in a car crash, leaving Anais alone at seventeen. They had been traveling from one of her dad’s jobs to another when they had been t-boned by an eighteen-wheeler. Her dad died on impact and her brother shortly after. Anais was the only one to survive and it had been several weeks in the hospital with stitches in her head and a broken leg and collar bone. Sometimes she wished that she had died with the rest of her family in that car. She wished it more often than she wanted to admit. When she had been released from the hospital a social worker came to pick her up. She had been put into a group home for omegas for the few months she had left until she turned eighteen. It hadn’t been a bad place to be, but it was lonely and Anais was grieving. When she had turned eighteen, the state cut the support, shelter and resources. She was on his own in the dead of winter in New York with nothing but the duffle bag of her personal items. She had nothing, not even a high school diploma in the end. She made her way to a homeless shelter for omegas and spent a few weeks there. She was able to get a job bussing tables at a local diner and it happened that the betas who also worked there needed another roommate. Anais had agreed and she hoped things were going to get better. She didn’t realize that she wouldn’t make enough money at the diner to support herself and she had limited options otherwise. She could barely feed herself and pay rent, even working overtime. She figured out pretty quickly that he was desired by alphas. There were always alphas coming into the diner who looked at her with varying degrees of interest. Anais shied away from them at first but she had gradually come to terms with the fact that alphas could be a way to make money. That was the beginning of Anais selling herself for money. It was then she had run across Roman Omegas. It was an upscale omega club that catered to famous and wealthy clients. If she was hired she would be given a place to live and fed three meals a day. She would make a very small salary, but she wouldn’t be working on the street, which was a big deal. There would be safety and security. Their clients were very specific and discrete. Every alpha Anais knew had been to one of these houses, fancy or not. It was common for parties and bachelor night’s and unmated alphas who needed the release when their lives were stressful. It was still a job, so Anais could quit at any time if she hated it, but she knew she would have a better life there than on the street. She knew she couldn’t stay with the betas anymore, and she couldn’t continue to work at the diner if she left the apartment. She lived in a run-down walk up in Queens and Roman’s Omegas was in the heart of New York City, so she’d have to find time to go into the city if she got an interview. She submitted an online application at the library, complete with a picture, before work the next day. Three days later she had an interview. She had put herself together and called out of work. She left the apartment before the betas could ask questions and hopped on the subway. She tried to keep her nerves calm because she didn’t want to smell like worried and anxious omega when she got there but it was difficult. She was greeted by Ivy Madeline, the general manager of the club. Her red hair and lipstick made Anais feel like she was about to eat her. She was an alpha, a powerful one, and Anais was on guard. The interview went well and she was asked a lot of questions that were what you might expect for a general interview, but she was also asked about her sexual experience and her sex work to date. Madam Ivy seemed pleased with her and smiled and stood. Anais thought the interview had been over, but she just smiled wider and told her that she had made it past the first round and she wanted to usher her to the second round immediately so she could see how she would perform.Anais was unsure what that meant, but quickly realized that they wanted her to fuck an alpha to see how she did and what her body looked like.Anais wasn’t so sure about it, but the desire to get the job was strong. She also realized that if she balked at letting this alpha have her for the interview she’d need to get over it in order to have said job anyway, so she agreed.Anais had jumped at the chance. She had raced back to Queens, packed her stuff, wrote a note for the betas and left without looking back.Three years had passed since she started this job and it would probably be the one she held until she got too old for alphas to desire her any longer and she was put back on the street. ..TBCAUTHOR’S NOTE: how do y’all like this first chapter??Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter 2.Anais’s heat was a few days away and she could feel little ripples in her nerves telling her it was approaching.A knock on her door got her moving in that direction. When she opened it to see Madam Ivy herself there she stopped, a little surprised. She rarely escorted the omegas into the lounge. These alphas must be a big deal. She smiled in the predatory way that Anais had come to know. She also saw the glint of arousal in her eyes and knew she looked good in the white lingerie. She couldn’t help but preen and strut a little for her. Her rich, throaty laugh made her smile.“You do look very tempting tonight, Ana, but I’ll have to wait,” She told her. Anais arched a brow as she let her walk by her and out of this door. Madam Ivy didn’t usually sleep with the whores she employed.“I am to please,” Anais told her with a wink.Ivy could be scary and sometimes malicious, but she was also ballsy and had a good sense of humor. She an
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter 3.Anais was most certainly going to be fired. First of all, you don’t mate the clients. Second of all, she couldn’t continue sex work while she was mated. Alphas wouldn’t want her now that her scent was laced with another alpha’s.She didn’t even know the alpha’s name. A hysterical bubble of laughter escaped her. The alpha shifted again behind her and Anais thought he was waking up. This was confusing and terrifying, but she needed to face reality. She had been dealt bad hands before, she would be able to deal with this just like she had with the others. She took a deep breath to fortify herself and nearly moaned. The alpha smelled better to her than anyone ever had. She wanted to whine and bare her throat again and Anais realized that it would be like this from now on. This was her alpha. She closed her eyes and took one more breath before she shifted and slowly adjusted herself to her other side. She saw that the alpha was awak
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter 4.They waited in silence for another moment before there was a gentle knock on the door. Atlas moved to open it and Anais saw Amelia, another omega that she was friendly with. She smiled and waved at her. “I have a room for you,” she told them both. “If you’ll follow me?”Atlas nodded and held his hand out for Anais to precede him out of the room. He put a hand on the small of Anais’s back as she walked barefoot down the hallway and into a new room. It had been set up with a small table and there was already food on it. It was a full meal, and Anais was impressed at the kitchen to have been able to produce it so quickly.“Thank you,” Atlas told her as she led them in. He moved away from Anais and she bit her tongue to keep herself from whining.“Can I get anything else for you, Alpha Atlas?.” she asked.Atlas shook his head. “Thank you, we are fine for now. I’ll call for someone if we need anything.”Amelia nodded and flashed a smi
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter 5.Once Anais had sorted everything in her mind she felt like she could think more clearly, even if there were no answers and she was still reeling from the events of the last hour or so. She had gotten good at putting things away to be able to push through in the moment. “Anais?” Atlas asked. She jerked up and realized that Atlas had probably called her name a few times.“Yes, sorry,” She said, flushing. “It’s alright,” Atlas reassured her. “I know you’re exhausted and you’ve had a long few days followed by a lot of new information to process.”Anais nodded when it seemed like he was expecting a response. “I want to get you home so that I can get you settled and we can decide what we are going to do. In order to do that, I need you to go with Ivy to your room and pack your things. She’ll escort you so that no one will stop you.”Anais nodded again and the alpha released his hold, allowing her to stand. She glanced up at Ivy’s fa
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter SIX.Atlas turned to Jesse and thanked him for bringing the bag. He shouldered it and said good night to the beta who tipped his hat before he went back to his post. Anais clung to Atlas’ hand as the elevator opened and they stepped inside.“Jesse is our usual night doorman. He’s friendly and good at his job. This is a well secured place, so you will be safe here.” Atlas looked down at her and Anais nodded. She wasn’t sure what else to do or say. She glanced down and realized that Atlas had pushed the button for the top floor.Anais’s stomach sank. She wasn’t sure how much money Atlas had, but if they were going to the penthouse in this building, it was significant. She waited in silence. She tried to take deep inhales of Atlas’ scent and remain calm. She knew she wasn’t succeeding when Atlas let go of her hand and pulled her into his side. Atlas wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close. Anais didn’t fight the urge
. Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter SEVEN: .Atlas’ lifestyle was something that Anais would need to get used to.There were certain expectations that came along with Atlas’s job and life. The house was something Anais would be able to make her own and she would make friends with the other omegas in her circle. Anais could do whatever she wanted now, instead of working. Anais would figure it out and would be happy, she was sure. Atlas wasn’t naive. He knew that omegas didn’t sell their bodies if they had any other choice. Anais was young and he wondered how old she was. Atlas wasn’t old by any means, but he was just past thirty, which made him older than the omega by at least a few years. He was the president of a multibillion-dollar company that he ran with his brother. The duffle bag that weighed nothing to him on his shoulder held all of Anais’s possessions in the world.Atlas had quietly led Anais through the penthouse when they arrived. He knew that she was
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter EIGHT.Anais dawdled in her new room for as long as she could. She unpacked her meager belongings and set things up. She put her clothes in the drawers and her books on the nightstand. The room was large and spacious and bigger than anything Anais had ever even dreamed about having. It was a calming blue color with white trim that gave it a clean and peaceful feeling. The bed was large with soft sheets and a thick comforter. The windows provided her a view of the skyline that took her breath away.Anais felt a little like Cinderella here, but she snorted at the thought. Cinderella was not an accidentally mated whore who got knocked up so the prince had to take her in.Anais sank down on the bed as reality crashed around him. Her hands gripped the soft comforter on either side of her hips. It helped to anchor her. She was in a strange alpha’s house. An alpha who had money and power and authority over Anais in a way that no other al
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter NINE.Atlas continued. “It’s going to take me some time to get used to it, too.”“It’s okay, Alpha,” Anais whispered. “I don’t want to overstep.”Atlas shook his head at Anais. “You’re not. This is your home and I am your mate.” Anais nodded again and watched as Atlas tilted his head slightly. He looked like he was thinking and his scent was laced with curiosity. Anais pressed her lips together anxiously but the soft touch of her mate’s hand on her face helped to assure her that nothing was wrong.“You call me ‘Atlas,’” he said quietly.Anais felt her face slack in surprise. “Oh,” She said simply. “I’m sorry. I don’t know. I can stop if you want.”Atlas shook his head. “I like it,” he told Anais. “Many people call me Alpha Atlas, but mostly just my close friends and family call me Atlas. I wasn’t prepared for you to call me by my name so quickly.”Anais nodded. “You’re sure you don’t mind?”Atlas smiled at her. “No, Ana,” he
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter SIXTY: . Anais let Atlas lead her around in a swaying motion and realized that the evening had gone better than she ever thought it would. She relaxed and enjoyed dancing with Atlas. They stayed on the dance floor for several songs before Anais started to drag a little.Atlas noticed right away and pulled her back to their table where they said their good-byes. Anais followed Atlas as they made their way across the room to the doors. Anais stopped and stepped out of the way as Atlas moved to the window to get their coats from the coat check.“I didn’t think I’d see you here tonight,” a breathy voice said behind her. Anais turned to see Lilith approaching her.“Lilith, it’s nice to see you,” Anais said. She would be civil and cordial. She reminded himself that she and Atlas had had a wonderful night and she wasn’t going to let this woman ruin anything for her.“Wish I could say the same,” she simpered. Anais rolled her eyes.“What
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY NINE: . They had been home for three days when Atlas brought up the subject of a charity ball.“What do you think?” he asked Anais. She paused. It would be the first function out in society since her illness. Anais licked her lips and thought about it. “Like, how big of an event are we talking?” Anais asked.Atlas handed her the glossy invitation and Anais stared at it. It was for the Rainforest Alliance Annual Gala. It looked fancy and it was going to be held at the American Museum of Natural History. A big event.“If you don’t want to go, it’s alright, we won’t.” Atlas’ scent was honest and the understanding look on his face made Anais feel like Atlas meant what he said.“I’ll have to go out sometime, right?” Anais asked jokingly. “Anais , it really is-““No, no, Atlas, it’s okay. I mean, we knew something was going to have to happen to get us back out there, it’s just…” She shrugged. Atlas stepped forward and took her
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY EIGHT: . “What are you thinking about?” Atlas asked softly. They were laying together after Atlas had cleaned them both up, Anais’s head on his chest. Atlas had been brushing his hand through Anais’s hair, grooming her. He noticed that the omega’s scent was wavering. He knew Anais was thinking about something she wasn’t sure of and worried about. Atlas wanted to give her the chance to talk about whatever was bothering him.He continued to try and read Anais’s scent more than he had before. Anais was expressive and he wondered if the omega had been this way all along and Atlas had ignored it, or if she had controlled herself tightly the first few months.Anais sighed and shifted slightly. Atlas felt the brush of her rounded belly against her hip and he reached over to stroke it. He felt Anais’s mouth lift into a smile against his skin and it made Atlas smile in turn.“I don’t want to destroy the mood,” Anais told him. “It’s
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY SEVEN: . ATLAS POVAtlas lay with Anais after they were knotted, thinking about their discussion. Her omega had dropped off after several minutes and Atlas took some time to look over her. They were laying on their sides, spooned together and he could see a clear view of most of his mate. His eyes followed his fingers as they trailed over her collarbone and down her back to her ribs. He brushed the hair off of Anais’s face and ears and looked at her lashes and freckles. Her perfect bow lips relaxed in sleep made her look young and youthful. He thought about what Anais had said that night and realized, again, what life was like for his omega. He felt sad and angry that Anais had gone through so much. Atlas was both appalled and honored that Anais had such a tie to him, but it also made him feel slightly ill to know that his mate’s situation was so precarious. He had been confident with Anais that this fragility wouldn’t be for
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY SIX: . Anais knew that people needed time to change, but she was angry and frustrated now. She was upset that Atlas told her one thing and did another. She was mad because her body was betraying her and she felt helpless to do anything about anything. She didn’t want to go back to living in fear every day and she could easily see how that would happen if she knew she was going to be sick every night if Atlas was late.“Do you know how frustrating it is to have your entire life taken away and put into the hands of someone else who could literally kill you with indifference?” Anais asked him. She heard Atlas' swift intake of breath and pressed her lips together. “Atlas, I’m not trying to blame you or make you feel bad. I want to move forward as much as you do, but it’s different for me.”She swallowed and ran a hand through her hair. “You want all these things for me. You want me to be happy and safe and well cared for. You
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY FIVE: . “Atlas, dinner’s ready,” Anais called from the kitchen. She plated the food and set everything out but Atlas hadn’t appeared. She padded back into the hallway and knocked on the door to the office.“Come in,” Atlas’ voice called. Anais pushed open the door to see her alpha at his desk. Atlas had been working non-stop the entire day and Anais wanted him to stop and eat. The pictures from the night before had run that morning, along with a short article and the rest of the news outlets had quickly picked it up.Anais had been reluctant to look at it when Atlas asked her, but she had in the end. It wasn’t as bad as he thought. There were several pictures that made Anais smile. There was one of her and Atlas when they got to the restaurant and Anais had made the joke. They were smiling at each other, sharing a little excitement about the future. One of the others was a shot of Atlas kissing her hand when they were in
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY FOUR: . She and Atlas had made a lot of progress, but Anais was still feeling her way with the alpha. She felt more confident that Atlas was going to try his best, but Anais was still conscious of the fact that he hadn’t been back to work yet and it had only been about a week since they got home. Things could and would change and Anais still wasn’t sure how Atlas would react to the new situations. She had to remind herself often that she needed to keep her wits about him and be careful. The intimacy of their conversation and the atmosphere had caused her to let her guard down and be completely honest with the alpha and now she didn’t know what would happen.“You refer to the penthouse as my house, not our house,” Atlas told her. “You haven’t felt at all like it was your home?”Anais sighed and briefly closed her eyes. She didn’t really want to have this conversation now. In fact, she was hoping that they wouldn’t have to tal
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY THREE: . “You’re sure you’re ready for this?” Atlas asked her. Anais turned and smiled at the alpha. “Atlas, it’s been a week. I think it’s time.”“Do you think it’s time or are you ready?” Atlas asked. Anais nuzzled into Atlas’ neck. She scented the pure icy clean fragrance of her mate and she let out a soft sigh. “Both,” She whispered.Atlas’ arms tightened around her and he hummed. “Anais…” Anais pulled back. “Atlas, it’s time,” She said firmly. “I don’t know that I’ll ever be ready. I’ve hidden away and it hasn’t made a difference. I’m not sure how comfortable I am with being in the news all the time, but you are and I am your mate. You’re not the only one who needs to do some things differently. This is part of you and your life and I can’t hide forever.“The media needs to see that I’m healthy and whole and that we are ok. They won’t go away and I’m sure there will be plenty of nasty things said about me, but I
Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter FIFTY TWO: . Anais blinked her eyes open sometime later and smiled when she felt the strong arms of her mate holding her. She realized she must have fallen asleep. She stretched slightly and huffed a laugh as she remembered another time she woke up disoriented in this position. She turned slightly and glanced over her shoulder to see Atlas awake and smiling. “Something funny?” She asked.Anais shuffled and Atlas loosened his arms enough for Anais to roll over to face him. “Just remembering the first time I woke up like this,” She said. Atlas smiled back.“I remember it was a bit of a shock,” he replied drily.“Just slightly,” Anais laughed. “How long was I out?”“About forty-five minutes,” Atlas told her. “Not too long, but you need to rest, so I wanted to let you sleep.”Anais nuzzled further into Atlas’ embrace. “Thanks Atlas,” She mumbled. “Are we going to go to the store?”“If you want to, Anais. I’ll do whatever you want.”“
