"Thank you for getting me out of there" Aletta said as she drove out of the place.

"No need to thank me, I felt a little suffocated as well" Joshua said merging with the main lane.

"Then why did you agree to have dinner with her?"

"I knew that she would only make an issue out of it and cry crocodile tears in front of the parents while trying her best to make me the bad guy" Joshua explained.

"Really? I wonder how you all did not notice until now" Aletta said. It was weird that only Jeanne had seen her true nature and that everyone had tried to silence her when she tried to explain it to everyone.

"I do wonder as well, it's like she deceived us for such a long time," Joshua said. "I had always known her to push until she got what she wanted and I always saw it as a good trait but looking back now I can tell that she was just good at making people see her as someone who needed help despite her own situation"
