Daniel chuckled. "I'm usually busy and pretty introverted, so I don't really do social events. Henry is much more outgoing than me."

I thought to myself that he didn't seem introverted at all when he was passionately discussing 'bunny girl costumes' with Macie.

I continued complaining to Macie, "And if you weren't mad, why didn't you stop me when I said I wanted to move out that day?"

Macie looked a bit embarrassed, and Daniel awkwardly turned his head, his ears reddening.

"We agreed not to have men stay the night. I didn't tell you because I thought you were mad I brought a man home, and I didn't dare to ask you to stay," she admitted.

As for Henry, Macie had been trying to set us up, which was why she had me add him on Messenger and took me along to meals. When Macie showed Daniel our photos, Henry was there too. Apparently, he asked Macie for my contact information right away, but she wanted to check with me first, so she did not give it to him then.
