Chapter 7

The next day, Mom and I tidied ourselves up and prepared to leave. We would both finally be free to go after our own dreams after today.

However, just as we were about to cross the road, a car sped toward us in a deranged manner.

It was Tracy. She looked like a lunatic.

"Die! Die, all of you! If it weren't for you both, I'd never have fallen from grace like this! You did this to me!"

Mom and I were frozen on the spot. We didn't know how to react. Death was quickly approaching us. By the time I finally snapped out of it, Tracy's car was already less than three feet away.

Damn it! We were going to die.

That was the last thought on my mind.

Just then, Walter suddenly drove his car straight at her. Both cars collided with a huge crash. One of the cars completely crumpled out of shape, and to my horror, I realized that it was Walter's car.
