ARIA’s POV….“Isn’t she?” His voice became lower, more acidic and it sounded like it was laced with poison.I slowly turned to Eric, pressing my lips tight as I subtly shook my head so as not to attract Raymond’s attention. Not much was said—or done— but he got the message.“Nausea is common and those with anemia are prone to stomach discomfort.” He’d managed to feign his voice to sound so calm even though I knew he was fidgeting on the inside from having lied to his Alpha.
