Shirley's POV “Water,” I croaked as I opened my eyes from the annoying beeping sounds coming from the machines around me. I knew I was in a hospital. Why? I didn't know but I hoped someone would tell me soon. My whole body hurt like hell and my throat was dry. “Water,” I grunted and coughed in a bid to clear my throat but it didn't work. He frowned down at the little boy and pulled him away. “I apologise Miss but he must have confused you with someone else. He does this a lot so pay him no mind.” The little boy in question struggled against him and kept stretching to touch me. I sighed and leaned down, picking him up in my arms.
