Once Fern was safely kept away in the basement of the pack house, Archer stood on the pack house steps looking out into the trees of his pack and the single road which the King would drive down. He didn’t want to showcase to Fern how worried he was, or anyone else for that matter, but he too knew how important this meeting was, it would either make or break the situation they had found themselves in. Walking towards the pack house to go and see Archer, I was hit with many differing emotions. The first was such a wave of relief and happiness, this meeting had been held over our heads for days now, with what we know about the King and the awful acts that he’s inflicted onto me and my family, no one was to know where this meeting was going to go and how far the King was planning on heading until he got exactly what he wanted.
