CELINE’s POV - Uttering his name, I broke out in a cold sweat. The memory I had with him, especially our last conversation, still makes me break out in a cold sweat. For goodness’ sake, I hope I am simply viewing it incorrectly. I hope I’m only hallucinating and not seeing Lance’s face. I never want to see him for as long as I live. He smiled at me, a sweet smile. Like the smile that emerged when I signed the divorce papers. “The food is delicious. Now I know why my wife’s cooking tastes so good because this recipe came from her.” What is Lance saying? That I copied his wife–Freya’s recipe? Lance calmly dropped his cutlery, followed by looking at me. Lance looks at me and it causes my hands to get sweaty from nervousness. What did Lance do here? Why is he here? What does he need from me? Did he end up here by chance? Many more questions entered my mind, but all of them vanished with one word he called to me. “Wife.” It seems that this time he is the one who is hallucinating.

LANCE’s POV - It’s astonishing that after a search that lasted for over four years, Celine is finally here in front of me. I never believed she was only here in Chicago, even though I traveled to every corner of the world to find her. She became even more beautiful. Her black hair was long enough to reach her waist. She looks more confident with a high forehead. It appears that a few aspects have altered concerning her, but one certainty remains my eternal love for her. When Celine was in front of me, there was a pain in my heart the way she looked at me with no emotion, yet full of anger. I would not be surprised if, even after six years, she is still filled with anger towards me for the numerous wrongdoings I did to her. LANCE’s POV - Upon my arrival outside the Yamamoto mansion–at Yuichi and Christine’s residence, I noticed Freya standing outside the gate, shouting and searching for Yuichi while two guards monitored her in case she engaged in any foolish behavior. I got out of the car and ran to Freya. Once I neared her, I smell a strong alcoholic drink. “Yuichi! Come out here, talk to me! I know you still have feelings for me! I feel it that I'm the one who you truly love me and not that b*tch!” I forcefully took Freya’s arm and made her face me. “Stop it, Freya.
