AVA'S POINT OF VIEWI was currently on my way to work. I flagged down a taxi and got in. It's my first day at work so I want to make a good first impression. Although I've been in New York city for about a week now, I've not resumed work fully. Today's the D-Day. The day I become a fully independent young woman. I watched Sean's wife walk towards us and I could see the way his eyes brightened the moment he saw her. For a moment there, I wished it was me that he was looking at with all that admiration but I knew it was wrong so I immediately tried to get the thoughts out of my head. "Sean honey, I was waiting for you in the car, you said you just wanted to see someone." She said to him before turning to look at me. "Good afternoon." The weekend came soon enough and Sean came to get me from the hotel where I was staying.My bags were already packed and I was ready to leave. I've been waiting for this day all week.I was excited. I'm not familiar with New York city but the moment we got to Sean's neighborhood, I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that I was in a rich neighborhood.Everywhere looked amazing. Finally, we arrived at Sean's house and he helped me bring my bags out of the trunk. He also helped me wheel them into the house while I followed him with a smile on my face. It's been a few days since I've been staying in Sean's mansion. After that night with Sean, I've not been able to stop thinking about him. The way his arms felt around my waist. The smell of his cologne.The warmth of his breath on my neck.I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was doing things to me.Things that I never knew that I could feel.Simply watching him alone got me thinking dirty thoughts and I wished we had gone far that night. But the sad thing about all of this was that he didn't remember.Or was he pretending not to?Was he embarrassed by what he had done?Because if he was, I don't want him to be.
