It's been a few days since I've been staying in Sean's mansion.
After that night with Sean, I've not been able to stop thinking about him. The way his arms felt around my waist. The smell of his cologne. The warmth of his breath on my neck. I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was doing things to me. Things that I never knew that I could feel. Simply watching him alone got me thinking dirty thoughts and I wished we had gone far that night. But the sad thing about all of this was that he didn't remember. Or was he pretending not to? Was he embarrassed by what he had done? Because if he was, I don't want him to be. I would give him my all if he ever demands for it. "Are you going to work now?" Sean asked, jolting me from my reverie. "Yes, I am." I answered and looked away from him. We were currently having a breakfast of toast and bacons and yet looking at him, made the food naughty. "Should I drop you off?" He asked and I gulped down my drink. "No, I'm sure I can take a cab." I said because I didn't want to be in a close proximity with him. "Let me drop you off, Its on the way to my office anyways." He insisted and I had no choice but to accept. I finished my meal and dropped the plate into the sink as well as his since he was also done eating. We both left the house and went to where he parked his second car - An army green Bugatti Chiron. I opened the door to the Passenger's seat myself before he could do it. He smiled as he got into the car as well. Soon, we were out of the compound and on our way to our respective working place. As he drove, I glanced at him on intervals. I couldn't help but notice his sexy veins or his perfect body. It drove me mad, mad for him. I signed heavily as I looked away, looking outside the window, hoping for a distraction. "Are you nervous about today?" He asked in a cool tone and my knees buckled even though I was seated. "Yes, I am." I lied. I wasn't bothered about my first day at work, I was bothered about the man who was currently driving me to work. In less than thirty minutes, we arrived at my working place and I had to get down. "Have a lovely day, Ava." He said to me as I was about to get down from the car. "Oh , and Ava?" He called my name, making me stop. "Yes?" I answered. "The dinner I took a raincheck on, let's do it today." He said to me with a smile on his face. My heart was racing with joy and I feared that it might leap out of my chest. "Sure." I said to him excitedly. I got down from the car and watched him drive off. I stood there for about a minute before turning back and entering into the company. It was my first day, I surely didn't want to be late. And what Sean had just said to me, served as a motivation for today's work. All the nervousness i felt before was gone and I was very excited to work. I took the elevator to the third floor where my department was and I tapped my feet excitedly. Once I got there and opened the door to the office, I introduced myself and why I was there. I was assigned to my office and I began work immediately. While I worked, I looked at the pictures on my phone. Pictures of Sean that was on the internet and pictures of Sean that I had taken when he wasn't looking. Pictures that if they were found on my phone, someone would find about my secret obsession on my father's friend. I sighed heavily as my mind drifted back to what happened a few nights ago. It made me giggle to myself. Although it didn't end quite well, it made me feel like I had made progress with Sean. How nice would it have been if we went further? I continued to giggle to myself until I heard someone knocking on my door. I quickly composed myself. "Come in." I said and the person stepped in. "Hi, it's Dylan." Dylan said as he smiled at me. "Oh." I mumbled awkwardly. Why exactly is this creepy guy in my office right now? "I just wanted to ask if you'll like to go to lunch with me." He said and I sighed heavily. "No thanks, I'm not hungry." I lied. Well, it really isn't a lie because my mind is still focused on the romantic night that I shared with Sean that I'm not sure that I'll be able to eat or that my food would digest if I did. "Ava, I want you to know that I'm not a bad person." Dylan said to me, he looked hurt when I turned down his offer. "I understand." I answered. I felt somehow bad for him but I still couldn't get his first impression off my head. His and that red hair girl with high pitched voice called Tiffany. "Maybe next time." I forced myself to say and I found him smiling. "Okay." He said, smiling at me before he left my office. I sighed heavily before going back to giggle at my thoughts on Sean and I. Soon, the day ended and I was ready to go home. However, I didn't expect to see someone standing outside my building waiting for me. "Ava!" He called my name happily once he saw me. "Kevin." I said in shock as I stared at Sean's first born, who is also my best friend's older brother. "What are you doing here?" I asked, stunned by his presence at my office. "I came to pick you up." He said as he smiled at me. "My dad said you were in town." He explained. "Did he now?" I asked and he nodded in response. "Yes." He said as he nodded. "You know what, give me a minute, let me run to the ladies for a second." I said to him as I handed him my phone and my bags. I eased myself, washed my hands and quickly went back outside to where Kevin was waiting for me. "Ah, your phone is ringing." He said to me as he handed my phone to me. I took my phone from his hands and that's when it dawned on me. Remember those raunchy pictures I took of Sean? That's what I used to save his number on my phone. That also means that Kevin must have seen it. TBC.AVA'S POINT OF VIEWI was currently on my way to work. I flagged down a taxi and got in. It's my first day at work so I want to make a good first impression. Although I've been in New York city for about a week now, I've not resumed work fully. Today's the D-Day. The day I become a fully independent young woman. My phone rang loudly, jolting me from my thoughts. I brought my phone out from my pocket and it's no other person than my mother. "Hello." I said as I picked up the call. "Ava, are you sure you want to work there?" My mother asked as soon as the call went through. She has been trying to convince me to come back home. Despite the fact that she and my father had given me their full approval on coming here to New York city to work, they've not stopped trying to convince me to come back home. And I've only been here for a week. I guess that's the burden that comes with being an only child. Don't get me wrong, I love being an only child but sometimes I wonder what it w
I watched Sean's wife walk towards us and I could see the way his eyes brightened the moment he saw her. For a moment there, I wished it was me that he was looking at with all that admiration but I knew it was wrong so I immediately tried to get the thoughts out of my head. "Sean honey, I was waiting for you in the car, you said you just wanted to see someone." She said to him before turning to look at me. "Good afternoon." I greeted her, the butterflies in my stomach had died down and I could have sworn that all I could feel was my heart clenching. "Who is she?" She asked as she continued to stare at me. "Esmeralda, this is Ava, don't you remember her?" He said to her and she frowned as if she was trying to remember who I was. "My best friend's little girl." Sean said to her once again and I sighed heavily. The moment he said the word - little girl, I felt a pang in my chest. I guess that's how he sees me.To him, I'm just a little girl. I tried to hide the sadness in my hea
Sean offered me water immediately and I gulped down the entire content. I couldn't believe my ears. But seriously, how could my father just suggest something like this without telling me?Well, he can since he doesn't know that I'm in love with his best friend. "Are you alright?" Sean asked me and I nodded in response. I couldn't find my voice hence the nod. "Are you sure you're fine?" Sean asked me and I managed to say something."Yes, I'm fine." I said to him with a smile. I turned to face Esmeralda who didn't even care that I was choking.I frowned at her, unnoticeably of course, but she didn't even seem to be paying attention to me.We finished the rest of our meal in silence and I got up soon afterwards. "I have to go." I said to Sean who smiled at me and nodded. "Thanks for the meal, it was delicious." I said to Sean once again. "Bye." I tried to say to Esmeralda who simply shrugged at me. I turned and left the restaurant, walking all the way back to my office, since i
The weekend came soon enough and Sean came to get me from the hotel where I was staying. My bags were already packed and I was ready to leave. I've been waiting for this day all week.I was excited. I'm not familiar with New York city but the moment we got to Sean's neighborhood, I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that I was in a rich neighborhood.Everywhere looked amazing. Finally, we arrived at Sean's house and he helped me bring my bags out of the trunk. He also helped me wheel them into the house while I followed him with a smile on my face. I was overexcited to be in his home. When we got to the living room, I marveled at the sight of it. It was beautiful. However, we were soon interrupted by Esmeralda who seemed shocked to see us inside the house. "What are you doing here?" Sean's tone suddenly changed. I stood there, watching their interaction with one another and I couldn't help but notice that something was off or was I reading too much into it?"Esmeralda.." Sean
