Leo couldn’t help but frown as he read through the same file for hours. He didn’t have any scheduled patients and he spent his time checking about a certain patient’s medical history. He knew he shouldn’t bother as it was not included in his job, but he had been sleepless for weeks.Ever since Margot cried during her session, Leo couldn’t forget her tear-stained face. It was all he could see whenever he tried to close his eyes to sleep. And whenever he managed to take a nap, Margot would be in his dreams or maybe his nightmares, crying and begging for help.Leo should do something about it. Margot meant it when she said she was going to start working on the same day she was hired. After a brief introduction with her team, she started checking the competitive analysis for similar products that the company was about to launch. Everything was fine, but she wasn’t fully satisfied. “This is not going to work,” Margot stated as she let out a deep sigh. “I can’t believe they’re wasting a lot of money on products like this. Anyone could sell the same beauty products these days. Do they really think the company would profit from this?” She took off her glasses and brushed her hair up. It was only the first day, but Margot couldn’t sit still and do nothing when she saw a lot of errors in the way the previous manager managed the products they sold. 

Margot woke up to the gentle taps on her cheek. She was welcomed by Leo who looked at her with a frown. She didn’t realize it before, but Leo seemed to love frowning a lot.“We’re here. Let’s get something to eat first, then I’m sending you home,” he said, tilting his head outside. Going out for dinner wasn’t in his plan. But just before Margot could tell him her house address, she fell asleep.Leo considered waking her up, but she looked tired, so he went ahead to get a reservation in a restaurant and parked his car outside for a couple of hours, watching Margot sleep.“Ah, now that you mentioned it, I’m starving. I only had a sandwich for lunch and compared to the energy I spent working, a sandwich was not enough,” she said, forcing a smile.“I knew it. You were whispering like a ghost when I called you earlier because you’re hungry, right? Let’s go. It’s my treat,” Leo smiled and got out of the car. He rushed to the other side to open the door for her but Margot was already outside.
