Veronica’s POVThree days had passed, and there was still no sight of Logan. The waiting started to make a knot in my stomach. For the past few days I sat on the steps waiting for him, hoping that he would return home. My eyes were fixed on the distant road, I started imagining how I would react when he would walk up the road.
