Veronica’s POV

I looked over to the direction as Logan and the pack made their way into the boardroom, the door then closed behind them. The reality of what had happened didn’t yet sink in. I was now bound to Logan, an Alpha on a pack, a leader that was strong and loyal. I had never imagined that something like this would ever happen to someone like me. But, for some strange reason it just felt right, like it was supposed to be like this.

Leaning against the wall, trying to catch my breath, feeling the weight of every single thing settling over me. Grace made her way over to me, she didn’t speak but the twinkle in her eyes said that she understood. She placed her hand on my shoulder, her touch was filled with comfort and reassurance.
