Lahat ng Kabanata ng Sold to the Prince of Hell: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Kaltain Leiya“You should teach me a few spells.”I mumbled with a small piece of bread in my mouth. He was in the process of sucking the life out of one of the three prisoners at the table so he didn't respond. I casually waited for him to be done with the man, munching on the chunk of bread and meat at the table.“Still want to learn teleportation?”I heard his voice after a few moments, followed by the loud thump of the lifeless body he just fed on hitting the floor. “No, not that, I can move freely around the castle so I don't need it anymore.” I slanted my shoulders back in a shrug as I tore away another small piece of the bread to feed into my mouth. “I just want to learn a few spells.”I continued when I didn't get a response from him. “Silly spells even.”I said with a small giggle. When I noticed he didn't respond, I looked up to see he was feeding again. He must have be really hungry judging from how quick he was taking life

Kaltain Leiya I opened my mouth to respond but he was already gone. I sat at the dining table alone, wondering what Calin meant by ‘open your eyes’. I couldn't make any sense of it. I couldn't make sense of anything, but overall what was Degar doing at Kaltain?I swiftly got you from the chair. I needed to find Calin. I needed him to explain what he meant. It felt like he knew something that I didn't, and I needed to know what it was. I stepped outside the open doors, heading for my chamber when an idea came into my head. Working on my brilliant idea, I headed in the direction of the courtroom. I knew they just had to be there. When I turned the corner, I noticed there were no guards at the door. I couldn't be happier. As I got closer, I could hear faint talking. I didn't need any more convincing to know that they were behind the big doors. The closer I got, the stealthier I tried to be, walking on the tip of my toes to not raise any noise. Successfully, I ma

Kaltain Leiya“Go on,”He urged me with a slight scoff. “You wanted to learn magic, say it.”I didn't know why I was so nervous. I pestered him so much about it and now I was chickening out. Thankfully, I didn't need to say the words out loud, as long as I said them perfectly in my head, it would work out just fine. The only issue is, if I said it wrongly, something bad could happen, and I didn't want that.“After everything your father taught you about courage, you still choose to be afraid?”“Shut up and let me concentrate.”I yelled at him. He immediately let out a loud laugh. We had gotten to the point where we were so comfortable around each other. We teased each other a lot and played a lot more often. He smiled more and so did I.When I was certain I was ready, I mouthed the strange words with my eyes closed tightly. “You did it Leiya.” I heard him cheer. My eyes flung open to see the part of the grass I held my hand over, had g

Kaltain LeiyaCalin's words rang in my head the whole night until my brain succumbed to the grip of sleep. The moment my eyes opened the next morning, my thoughts resumed. I wanted to not believe him, to throw the thoughts to the back of my head and mark them as irrelevant, but I couldn't. Telling me something so extremely important and charging me to confront his majesty about it wouldn't be done for fun. He could lose his job or even his life if it is proven that what he told me was a lie. Which made me even more curious as to why he was willing to risk all that. On the other side of the story, if Calin is right, why would Helion lie to me? Why, just why? I couldn't make any sense of it. There was no way I could completely rule out Calin's words. I definitely had to confront his majesty about it, the only question was, how?I climbed off my bed and made my way to the window. I looked at each and every person my eyes found in the street. No one looked anxious

KaltainLeiyaAfter a very long silence, I turned my teary eyes behind me. He had left. How could a person, no he wasn't a person, calling him a human would be an insult to the human race. He was a creature. A selfish, cowardly creature, who couldn't own up to his wrongs and apologize for it. When I said I never wanted to see him again, I meant every word. I got up from the chair and made my way to the bed. I dragged myself into it, about to place my head down when I noticed a flash of color in the corner of my eye. Something caught my attention and that thing was under the chair. Leaning in, I squinted my eyes to get a clearer view. It looked like a book. The book. I jumped out of bed, rushing to pick it up. Sure enough, it was the black book of spells. My head immediately played back the memory of a few minutes ago, where he told me the actual page for teleportation. I quickly flipped to page five. I couldn't say it made a difference because I still didn't u
