Calin's words rang in my head the whole night until my brain succumbed to the grip of sleep. The moment my eyes opened the next morning, my thoughts resumed. I wanted to not believe him, to throw the thoughts to the back of my head and mark them as irrelevant, but I couldn't.

Telling me something so extremely important and charging me to confront his majesty about it wouldn't be done for fun. He could lose his job or even his life if it is proven that what he told me was a lie. Which made me even more curious as to why he was willing to risk all that.

On the other side of the story, if Calin is right, why would Helion lie to me? Why, just why? I couldn't make any sense of it. There was no way I could completely rule out Calin's words. I definitely had to confront his majesty about it, the only question was, how?

I climbed off my bed and made my way to the window. I looked at each and every person my eyes found in the street. No one looked anxious
