Those were the most horrifying two letter words I had heard in my entire life. Nothing could prepare me for them. I felt my heart fall to the ground and shatter into a million pieces. Not once did he take his eyes off me as I took my hands to my gaping mouth. Without warning, the tears began to fall from my eyes. The entire world around me started to spin, causing me to stagger to the ground. I was prepared to violently hit the ground when I felt his hands around me.

“Leiya,”

He exclaimed, gripping onto me tightly to prevent me from hitting the floor. He gently picked me up, making his way to the chair by the window. As he placed me into the chair, I felt an immediate rush of rage overwhelm me.

“You liar! I yelled. “Get away from me.”
