Aurora’s POV “Are you sure that you are okay?” Alexis asked for the umpteenth time. It had been more than four hours since I woke up from whatever phase that was, and while my head still hurt, it wasn't like before. This time, though, the throbbing was constant, so constant that I could almost ignore the pain. Almost. My body was exhausted, and my mind was sluggish to function properly, but my head felt fine. “Yes,” I assured him, “just a bit of a headache” It was hard to believe that there hadn't been a moment when I'd actually believed what I was telling myself about my head hurting. But now that the adrenaline that usually kept it at bay was long gone, my memories were starting to come back slowly, one by one.
