Aurora’s POV

“I know someone who can help you”

Immediately I heard those words, my heart began to pound faster against my chest, my hands went into a tight grip and my eyes began to water slightly. A tear fell down the right side of my cheek as I took a step backwards towards my bed and sat down on it, my face was filled with anxiety and shock, and I couldn’t even breathe properly.

I know I needed help, I needed answers but this? Why was I suddenly scared? This situation seemed too bizarre, too impossible. I thought I could handle whatever this situation was, I wasn’t that scared of being lost after all these years. But yet here I am, standing frozen in front of some stranger- that wasn't much of a stranger, scratch that Alexis wasn't a stranger but there I was not knowing what to do or say.

My mind went crazy, thinking about every single scenario that could possibly happen.
