Jillie’s POV I shot straight up in bed, my heart beating a mile a minute. My body ached all over. I reached over to grab my phone off the nightstand but paused when I saw the bruise on my wrist. I brought my other hand up, and it housed an identical bruise. Snatching my phone off the table, I dialed Jarren’s number.
