           I followed Scarlett into the kitchen, a bit apprehensive. What could she possibly want to talk to me about? Once alone in the kitchen, she took a seat at the kitchen table. I walked over and sat across from her. It was quiet until she spoke.

“Listen, Jillie. I have to apologize to you for the way I acted toward you. It’s just that I have a certain reputation, and I really like Aaden.”
