Clara and Galbraith stayed with Kylie for a while. They informed her of what had happened after she fell unconscious and explained her Bloodline repression ability to her. They called it ‘Bleed’ and though its name was far from fancy, Kylie was excited by the advantage it gave her. They also told her about the Blood Alpha, and about how he was the first person to awaken this ability. They did this to build a picture of invincibility in Kylie’s mind. Knowing that there was a genius who had awakened this ability some years ago was necessary to boost Kylie’s self-esteem. “Not bad,” Sam narrowed her eyes while observing Kylie. While it seemed a simple move on Kylie’s part, it was not to be overlooked considering the absurd difference in strength between the two.
