PROLOGUE Mia stared out the window and wondered how had her life become so bad. Once upon a time she had been happy, her mum had doted on her and she had a stepfather who treated her like his own. Jacob stared out of the window as his driver pulled up to the packhouse. He was bored, fed up and most of all tired of all these responsibilities. Kane and Jacob had been sat chatting for quite a while when the alarm suddenly sounded causing them both to jump into action. Jacob growled angrily as he and Kane shifted into their wolf forms.
