(Siobhan’s P.O.V) The morning came too quickly for my liking, I was enjoying being wrapped up in my mate’s arms and feeling his breath tickle my neck. (Tiernan’s P.O.V) Siobhan was now out training with the female warriors of our pack while I was going to be training with the males and the spell casters from Winona’s coven and their sister coven, Coven of the Silver Thread. Siobhan was really aggravated that she wasn’t going to be able to train with the spell casters, but I knew she needed to brush up on her hand-to-hand. Even though she’s in the FBI, they have different standards for their agents and if they encounter combative suspects. They also always have guns on them; we don’t so we need to be able to defend ourselves at the drop of a hat. (Siobhan’s P.O.V) Tiernan is quick to get on top of me, grabbing my wrists and moving my hands to above my head. He settles himself between my legs, with enough of his weight on me that I can’t move. His growl vibrates in his chest as he brings his face to my neck, running his nose along the curve of it while inhaling my scent. (Siobhan’s P.O.V) 1 week before the Blood Moon We have one more week before the Blood Moon and everyone has been working hard training and preparing for the battle. Alpha Brock and his warriors showed up a few days after our training began. We hadn’t been expecting him, he had said that his Gamma would be with his warriors, so everyone was all in an uproar that the Alpha of the White Paw Sleuth was here and no one had prepared the appropriate room for him. The packhouse workers were able to get it worked out quickly enough that Alpha Brock probably didn’t notice that we weren’t prepared for him. (Siobhan’s P.O.V) Well, this is shit. One minute Tala and I are frolicking through the forest and the next I’m in front of the Goddess of death, Scàthach…naked. Great.
