Chapter Thirty

Nikolas’s body burned with a strange fire, his desire-fogged brain was blind with a se*ual hunger that he'd never experienced before. He grasped the back of her head to claim her mouth better, dominating her, controlling her mouth. He wanted to imprint the feel of her mouth in his brain. It was a heady, crazy feeling that sent his heart into overdrive. Brooklyn couldn’t respond at first but then her fingers slowly fisted into his silky hair and she kissed him back, slowly and sensually at first as if she was experimenting with her first kiss. Nikolas groaned with pleasure. He knew that he was in deep sh*t now. Her soft, languid, and er*tic response started a war between his rational mind and traitorous body. His tongue tasted every recess of her mouth like he had been dreaming of doing for the last few days. Soon the kiss turned fierce and although Nikolas knew that he shouldn’t hav

He nodded, staring at her. “I’ll make dinner. Do you need bland food?” He asked, looking worried. Brooklyn smiled, seeing the agitated expression on his face. “No, I’m not sick at all,” she told him. He frowned at her and then turned on his heel and abruptly left the room. Brooklyn heaved a sigh of relief and quickly went to the washroom

Chapter Thirty-Two

In ten minutes Brooklyn was ready to go and see her twin. She sat in the reception room waiting for Nikolas. Although she knew where the outhouse was, she didn’t have the courage to go alone after Nikolas had warned her not to. After a few minutes, Nikolas walked out in his work outfit, and Brooklyn couldn’t help but check him out. His muscular frame was well covered in the black formal suit he wore and if she hadn’t seen him semi-naked, she would never have known how well endowed he really was! A deep blush stained her cheeks at the sinful thoughts that invaded her mind. “Ready?” he asked, coming to a halt in front of her, his piercing gaze hooked upon her. Brooklyn looked up into his eyes and found a strange expression reflected in them, the one she had seen before as well. It was gone in a split second before she could decipher what exactly it was.

There were three bedrooms with panoramic views of the whole city. She chose a corner room for herself that overlooked the garden area of the condominium.
