Chapter 21

Her back came in contact with the wall behind her as her eyes widened in dread, she glared at the wall through her shoulder feeling angry for her situation. When Riley looked in his way again to measure the distance, a loud gasp escaped her lips when she found his large frame hovering over her. Her hands clamped against the wall for support as she kept her eyes rooted to his chest. He didn't say a word and with each passing second her heart was beating at an abnormal rate. She noticed the small space to her left. She could escape from there easily if she was fast enough. And that was what she did, she tried to move from the side but she literally jumped in her place startled and shocked when Damon placed his large hand on the wall right beside her head. She immediately tried to make a run from her right and he did the same thing ther

Chapter 22

She was left alone in my room. She heard the main gate opening and closing. Which meant that Kayla and Damon's second in command Fred might've left.  How in the world they might leave from here? On foot? Because there were woods all around. Damon has been behaving strangely since yesterday. He wasn't like this before. She shuddered recalling their closeness. His possessive touches. How could he be so blunt about wanting to kiss her. Last night was a constant reminder in her head of how unrealistic everything was. Yet it was the truth. She should've asked Kayla for help, to drop her home but it seemed Kayla also listens to her brother only.  Why?

Chapter 23

"No! Let me go!" She screamed on top of her lungs while punching on his hard muscular back. He was carrying her like a rag doll on his shoulder as if she weighed nothing. He wasn't even wincing but her hands were becoming numb with all the punching and strength she was utilising. "Let me go! HELP! SOMEONE HELP!" She screamed as loudly as she could but she knew no one could hear her. No one freaking lives there in the forest. His muscles were rigid and he was walking back to his cottage. He would kill her now, she was sure of it. He would go all werewolf mode on her. She tried to escape when he continuously said it wasn't safe to leave but then she felt more like saving herself from him. Her heart trembled as he clim

Chapter 24

She couldn't sleep the whole night as she kept tossing and turning on the bed. His words, that dominant claim of his on her kept roaming her head in a mantra.  First and foremost he was a wolf, a werewolf who saved her life. Come to think of it she was sure that Damon must've something behind how her father did what he did. And then that bad attacker wolf thing, come to think of it he saved her life twice but then he ended up putting his claim on her. "You're mine Riley. Mine. Nothing can change that." His declaration, that dominant stance of his and that deep voice stick to her mind not leaving her head the whole night.  For a brief second she had this strange urge to consider the whole scenario. What would it be like to be his woman? How would it be to be in his

Chapter 25

Riley was making herself some coffee. Few days back Damon asked her to do online shopping for herself. Well, she just bought one pair of pajamas and a loose shirt. That was all but now as she has been here for more than a few days. She was using that same pair of undergarments. She washed them at night and let them dry while she slept and in the morning she wore the same one. She was irritated by wearing them again and again. She was considering asking him about her salary. She's been cooking for him for a few days now. She should ask him to give her her salary in advance so she could at least buy some undergarments for herself.  She was busy in her chore when all of a sudden her eyes widened and shock appeared all over her face. "Please don't let it be that. Please don

Chapter 26

Riley waited for Damon. Hoping that he would come as soon as possible. She was also feeling scared to be alone in this cottage that was literally in the middle of nowhere. As being a top notch pessimist. All the worst scenarios raked her head but she tried to stay positive. But then eventually her mind started to divert thanks to the starting pain waves of cramp. She heard the doorbell ring and she was literally standing just near the door, if in case the lights went off or any ghost attacked her she would be able to run for her life. She pressed the button and then peeked outside through the hole. It was Damon.  She opened the door for him so he would come inside as she closed the door shut. Her brows furrowed as she saw tons of bags in his hands. Did he bring sanitary

Chapter 27

"Fuck Riley. Open the door." He yelled as his heart dropped down while hearing her soft whimpers. He didn't hear her footsteps. She wasn't moving in there. "Damn it!" He growled as he ran to his study to grab the keys to her room. His heart was pounding in his head and he was losing his sh*t. He stopped with a screeching of his foot on the wooden floor that made him slightly slip forward. He abruptly placed the key in the hole and fumbled before it finally unlocked. He slammed the door open with such force that it literally was about to come out of its hinges as it slammed on the other side of the wall with such force she was sure there might be a dent in the wall.

Chapter 28

Next four days passed slowly as Damon didn't let her out of the bed at all. She literally felt as if she was hospitalised with all the care and concern he was showing towards her. She had to make him understand that she was fine now and he must let her out of the bed or she would lose her mind of boredom by staying in her room. He was hesitant but he finally let her free. She was in the kitchen preparing dinner when Damon walked in and leaned against the counter. It was kind of his habit, to watch her cook.  It felt odd and awkward at the first with his constant gaze set on her but now eventually she has gotten used to it. Damon was a man who still terrifies her because she knows he was a werewolf and a ruthles

Chapter 29

"I didn't know you liked such stuff Angel." Came his deep raspy voice from right behind her ear causing her to tense. All the breath left her lungs in a whoosh as she moved back to her spot and turned to face him. "I...I.. d..didn't put it on." She muttered Lord knows what as she still looked for the remote. The moans were getting louder and her heart was pounding faster, she didn't dare to look at the screen. Pretty much afraid to see something sinful there. "But just a while ago I asked you what you are watching." He said rather confused and secretly feigned innocence. "I didn't know it was t..that s...sort of movie." She gulped as she told him and God kn

Chapter 30

"But then why were you watching it in the first place?" He asked her with narrowed eyes. He was literally getting on her nerves. "First I didn't know which sort of movie it was. I just played it because the name gave me the vibes of a thriller mystery type." She blurted out in one go and then breathed in deeply when her eyes met his. Blue against Grey with a lot of golden. His eyes were slightly wide with blazing golden in them as he watched her in aww making her go all red. "Ahhhh!" A loud moan echoed in the whole hall which had her jumping in shock. Her wide eyes met his for a brief second before she abruptly looked down. Oh God! This was embarrassing. Th
