Chapter 11

Third person's POV Damon walked through the rusty, dimly lit corridor that reeked of a disgusting smell. He opened the door and walked in with slow threatening steps. His prey was already there on the chair, tied and gagged. Trembling like a leaf as if he has seen death himself. Damon stood in the shadows for the longest of time. Enjoying the terror that danced in the eyes of his captive. The pathetic thing tried to struggle, he even tried to say something but it was muffled with the gag. "Hello, Levi," Damon said in his gruff voice.  The guy visibly flinched when Damon stepped out of the shadows. His face, a mask of anger. The guy stopped strug

Chapter 12

Riley was home alone and the feeling was kinda creepy. Damon has told her that he has some work in the city and he would be back before 8 but now the night was approaching pretty fast, it was past 10 now and she was getting all scared. Her house was small and she never felt scared there because when her father wasn't home she felt safe and relaxed but here in this large mansion-like cottage without the presence of Damon she felt scared. Call her a coward or anything cause she has kept all the lights on in the whole place and with each passing second all the horror movies she had watched were going through her mind like a reel and Lord knows that she was not feeling alone at all. Riley grabbed the side of the sofa and at the same time she heard footsteps approaching. "W...who is it? S..sstop right there." She stammered, taking steps back. She was now able to see slightly as her sight adjusted to the darkness. "Please ghost, l...leave me alone.." She whispered to herself so very afraid. "Are you scared of ghosts?" Chapter 14

Not a blink later the lights were back on and she turned to face him who only looked at her sheepishly. "Was just rechecking it." He said with a shrug. Riley took in a deep breath to calm her heart down as she started walking up the stairs and back into the hall. She was cautious and looked around with big eyes in case she spotted the ghost. Walking to the sofa she sat on it and touched her knee where she got the hit only to hiss in pain. She pulled her dress up and stared at the purple and blue bruise now. It would probably take a few days to heal. She shook her head and was about to push the dress down when a calloused hand grabbed her calves and next Mr. Damon was examining her bruise with utmost concern. His thi

Chapter 15

Riley didn't scream Damon's name. She didn't want that wolf to know she was in the woods as well. She ran with cautious steps, making sure that she wouldn't make any noise but the sharp broken branches and twigs on the rugged ground were piercing the soles of her feet, making her hiss in pain.. Moonlight was not enough for her to see everything clearly but she still went on and looked around for any glance of Damon.  Why does Damon have to leave at such a time? Now where would she find him in this large forest. "D..Damon." She said in a low voice because she was afraid. She wanted to save him but at the same time she was scared. She took a few steps ah

"No!" Riley screamed and thrashed, trying to get her arm free but he didn't let go and only tightened his hold on her. "Relax Riley." His voice was a deep baritone causing chills to run down her spine. "Let me go!" She screamed as she wasn't in her senses. She just found out the man who saved her, the man she was living with from the last few days wasn't even human. When he didn't let her arm go, she bit his hand with all her strength which only got him to wince a little but that was it. So she bit him harder but he just didn't let her go. "Riley, listen to me." He said and the calmness of his voice was terrifying. "No! Let me go!" She screamed and yet agai

He didn't even let her think as his large hands grabbed her thighs and spread them apart before he smoothly stood in between her legs as a loud horrified gasp left her lips at their intimate position. "W...what are you doing?" She stammered and tried to pull her legs back so she could crawl back on the table and hop down from the other side but Damon only grabbed the back of her knee and yanked her even closer, she gasped as her palms landed on his chest to create appropriate distance. "Listen to me." His voice came out low and stern. Hawk was going crazy inside his head because he didn't like how his mate was going berserk and trying to get away from him. "I w..want to go home. L..let me go." Her voice was low and scared as she pushed at his chest but he won't even budge.

Chapter 18

His eyes moved up to her face and he paused. Her eyes were casted down and she was breathing heavily through her parted, swollen red lips. Moving towards his drawer he took out his lighter and turned it on. She gasped when light filled the small of her surroundings and she could finally see his face. "What did he do?" Damon asked calmly but the anger was clear in his voice.  "Huh?" She said dumbfounded, still trying to come back to the real world. "Did he hurt you somewhere else?" Damon asked while holding her chin between his forefinger and thumb and tilted her face up to examine the bruise. She was too stunned to comprehend. He looked so normal as if
