Chapter 30: The Spirit's Assault

It was a bright morning as the sun continued to shine above the snowy forest of Yuver. It's golden ray brought illuminating light to the vast woodland of snow-coated trees where winter never leaves.   The trees' upper frosty leaves glowed so ever white as the sunlight brush at their exposed surface like brilliant gems, sparkling before your eyes.   But even though the sun god have emerged from his slumber, dark shadows are still found beneath the trees, rocks, and caverns where his warm and emitting luminosity never have the chance to shone upon those looming void of dusk.   The day was fair with a strange comfortable silence lingering around the light atmosphere upon the terrain of the snowy forest. This was the day where Evan and Mayari decided to explore the other area of the mysterious yet beautiful woodland and try to find any clue or hint that will show them the way toward the exit so they could finally escape.

Chapter 31: A Fight to be Hold

Mayari watch as the sky slowly shift to a dark shade of blue, the stars slowly peep out one by one in the darkness and the faint crescent moon slowly appeared in the sky. It was quiet and relaxing as the night came again in the forest but Mayari can't let her guard down yet. Then suddenly, Evan came out of the trees and frantically run towards her, every step he took are heavy and loud against the snow, that caught Mayari's attention making her avert her gaze towards him. He is holding his stomach in pain and that didn't tooked Mayari seconds to know that he's injured. Chapter 32: The Moon is Watching

From a window, a light suddenly flash through in the middle of the night as a luminescent beam pass by the curtains dimly but enough to be notice by a certain little girl. The light came from outside, followed with a loud sound of a familiar vehicle that stirred the girl from her sleep. The engine noise lingered for a couple of seconds before finally dying out. But by then little Mayari had already woke up. "That must be mommy..." "It's not the time to rest yet."   A stern voice cut through the sullen silence like a sharp blade. Mayari opened her eyes upon hearing the cold stone remark, and immediately shifted her gaze from the leafless branch of the dead tree, that painted the gray sky, to the figure standing just a feet away.   Her back is facing Mayari and her crimson dress softly waved to her side as the wind gently blew the red fabric. Chapter 34: To Ashes and Smoke

The two melody of different blades clashing together are ringing unendingly in the tense atmosphere of the night, in the cold forest of snow.   Evan and the spirit boy fiercely weild their swords and magic, wanting to eliminate their enemy as quickly as possible, but it is easier said than done. "T-the p-prophecy of our beloved forest's f-fall..." the servant finally spoke, "has begun!" Yuvera instantly stood up from her flowery throne with wide eyes. Chapter 36: Dark Elven Blood

The sound of the of the rushing cold river echoed throughout the nearby surrounding as it continued to deliver its strong yet gentle current down its endless stream. Then the river was suddenly mixed with a light tint of red. Evan shudder at the feeling of his skin coming in contact with the icy water, freshly taken from the coursing river in front of him. Even so, he beared with it, his wounds are not bleeding anymore but he needs to clean it to prevent infection, along with the dried trace of blood that is sticking uncomfortably in his skin. The soft melody of a flute, gentle filled the snowy terrain of the forest’s border, where a group of elves gathered to present their offering for the spirits to grant them an audience.The flute’s song continued to play as the sound of drums and strings joined in, creating a beautiful harmony of music.
