Chapter 32: The Moon is Watching

From a window, a light suddenly flash through in the middle of the night as a luminescent beam pass by the curtains dimly but enough to be notice by a certain little girl.

The light came from outside, followed with a loud sound of a familiar vehicle that stirred the girl from her sleep. The engine noise lingered for a couple of seconds before finally dying out. But by then little Mayari had already woke up.

"That must be mommy..." She lazily mumbled, rubbing her eyes from sleepiness and yawning after.

Her father was away in that time for a business trip, he won't be back until next week so that left Mayari and her mother in the house.

Her mother already mentioned that she will be home late and she doesn't need to wait for her but Mayari have a sweet habit to always greet her parents when they got home.

So she rose out of bed, slip into her pink bunny slippers and walk towards her
